I think they will. It was on the setlist the last time I saw them live and I didn't expect it then. It's my favorite song of all time, so if it isn't on the setlist I'll be crying with you.

@Anthony Griffith well they have cut most of the crap from mania and filler from AB/AP, it's good to hear songs that feature the whole band actually playing and showing their skill again. I will give them credit though, their live renditions of some of the most synth stuff (last of the real ones/church) aren't too bad
Some of the songs off the first two albums feel just a bit hollow without the second guitarist but it’s still a phenomenal setlist and performance compared to where they’ve been for awhile
Something about hearing people sing along to new fall out boy music in 2023 is just very healing to the soul

Setlist sucks. So predictable. And the new shit sucks too. For once I’d like to hear them play album songs or b-sides they’ve never played live.
Seeing them play these older songs that never get played anymore brings such a huge, dumb smile to my face. Our boys are BACK!!

I disagree, respectfully of course. They play the SAME older songs. There’s no reason they can’t do older songs that would be unpredictable like sending postcards, hand of god, 7 minutes, g.i.n.a.s.f.s
@@mikeheroes5451 you're right to some extent. Saturday, chicago is so 2 years ago, tnx fr the mem, they're still played. But "hum hallelujah" and "disloyal order" and "thriller" were real nice surprises.
If they added in a few like those you mentioned, or grenade jumper, I'm like a lawyer, or of all the gin joints,
That'd really be the ultimate setlist.
Still better than their last few years where itd be all songs from 2010's and then only Sugar and Saturday, or something.
I keep hoping someday, one day… they just play Pavlove and surprise the shit out of their old fans.

I especially loved hearing his vocals on the older songs 🥺💖 it’s nice to hear the evolution of his singing when he does TTTYG stuff now, as opposed to the highly stylized pop-punk singing he had back then haha
lol he's always had less than amazing live vocal quality back in the day, and this set video doesn't do much to dispell that. But I don't think him having perfect vocals is the point, they just really polished all their album releases to the point that the expectations are skewed. Just look at their main influence Lifetime.

Watch at 3:56, when Pete jumps into the crowd and the unsuspecting barricade security guard on the left has to push through a mass of photographers to get to Pete. And after that the security guard decides to stay in the center of barricade because he realizes it's gonna be one of THOSE nights. 🤣
The fact that Saturday is still an end of set staple shows the Boys will never actually change ❤️. I hope they play more Folie on the main tour

It's been well over a decade, and everytime I hear Hum Halleujah recorded or live, it's still there's a devil in a hot speedo.
The security team were doing a fantastic job making sure people had water and stuff.

Fr having ABAP (the song) and Disloyal Order in one set is 12 y/o me’s dreams come true, now they can just add the rest of Folie and Golden to the set 🥹

Me too! Id love a coffee's for closers but i know it's pretty high to sing live. I also absolutely LOVE West Coast Smoker and Tiffany Blews from that album (i love a lot of others but i have the songs i listed plus disloyal on an unhealthy repeat 😅). I also might have coffee's for closer as my ringtone (and fourth of july opening as my notifications)
This is almost a perfect setlist. It saddens me to know that a lot of these songs won't make the cut for tour, but I'm excited to see what new songs get added into the rotation. I hope Thriller sticks around!!

Patrick sounds GOOD. this is possibly the best i've ever heard him live. They brought amazing energy to the set and so did the crowd holy shit! really giving the older days but stronger and matured. The stage definitely feels a bit empty & wrong without Joe, but i find that kinda heartwarming-- fall out boy isnt fob w/o him and it seems like they're really honoring that. I'm feeling his absence fr, but im so proud of him and excited for him to come back, however and whenever that happens :)) the whole thing seems like they arent revisiting the past but really building on their core elements, and i Love that.
Joe really is such an integral part of the band, I would love to hear love from the other side with him on the harmonies
why did he miss this show?
FOB is one of the few bands were i actually know almost all of their songs by heart.

It's weird that Pete said they don't always play Disolyal Order, because they did the last two times I saw them in 2018 and 2016. It's one of my favorite songs by them so I'm always so moved when they do it live. I think it was last time that it was kind of like a piano cover of it, I have horrible memory, but I love that song.
it did have a piano beginning! it started with patrick on the piano on stage by himself
They played it when I saw them a Reading in 2016 and I was so happy, that set was the best of the three times I've seen them!
