He is so darn cute. I love the way you join your yarn. I also love that there is no stuffing or sticking on the eyes. This is perfect. Thank you for sharing we us 🥰
@@happyrockcrafts I made 3 last night but have to go to the Dollar store to get the curlers, to finish. I just couldn't wait to try him, and I so enjoyed the process. Thank you once again 😘
Thank you. I do use different yarns. They make them look so fun and different . Stitch count is a little different because of the weight of the yarns, 🙂 what about you?
I'm going to try these but I've already made your googly finger puppet worry worms and I'd like to show you where can I post the pictures. Like Instagram- Facebook?? I love your tutorials thanks:-)
Thank you so much. I would love to see pictures. I have a group and page on Facebook that you are welcome to post some pictures to they are both the same name @happyrockcrafts in my videos description there are links to them. 🙂 I can’t wait to see your adorable pictures 💙
I have the short fat rollers and large eyes. How many stitches do you recommend I do to get around the roller if I’m still using the same size yarn. Thank you.
Great question, you can increase it by adding more sts but usually it will be stretchy and should fit the curlers fine. I have used fatter and thinner ones with the same stitch count and it works fine 😉😉
🙋♀️ Tammy, Your little gummy worm is so cute! Can you use stuffing if you don't have the curlers, or do you think it won't work as good without the curlers? Well you answered my question. I'm going to have to go to my dollar tree and get some of the foam curlers because the stuffing will not work as good. Thank you for your video I can't wait to make one. ❤
Yes you could. I would do it with a magic ring and do 9 hdcs and do it that way. The hdcs are not so big like the dcs. I did the dcs in the video because we worked around the ring 🙂
@@happyrockcrafts after you do the initial 8 double crochets. You then do 2 slip stitches and 1 chain. Then you go back to do another 8 double crochets. Yours seem to make the face thicker but when I do the 2nd 8 double crochets mine seem to just make it wider.
BRILLIANT!!!!!

@@happyrockcrafts I do indeed but now will have to go to the dollar 25 store to get some hair rollers :D
Thank you for the tutorial, making my first now.
You are welcome. Beware it’s hard to make JUST one 😉😉
These look awesome! Have you ever tried using a different yarn? Big Twist Posh or Premier Parfait?
Thank you. I do use different yarns. They make them look so fun and different

I would do whatever will cover the roller. It depends on your tension, yarn and hook size. 🙂🙂
am just loving this but my ? is how many rows did you do before you change color
Thank you 🙂I honestly don’t remember. I just go until I feel like changing colors. It is whatever your preference is 😉😉
@@happyrockcrafts ty so much i have made 3 so far and one with the bigger roller i love them
There are different size curlers. How do you change the stitch count for the fatter ones?

Thank you and you could use stuffing if you didn’t want them to be bendable 😉
can you do it without the goggles eyes? I was thinking stitching the eyes on or safety eyes

@@happyrockcrafts thank u I might do it for my brother x
TFS! I'm going to DT today!
How wide are your curler rods? I see some on Amazon that are different widths and I don’t want a skinny worm, lol … the choices are 0.31” and 0.55”
Hi. I use all different sizes and widths. If you don’t want a skinny worm get the bigger one 🙂
Does the foam roller degrade or split , loose integrity from going thru it with hole and needle
Not that I have seen. 🙂
Not that I am aware of.
Do you have the written instructions you could share?
I am sorry. I don’t have written instructions, I only did a video as I went along in my brain. My instructions for it is bad chicken scratch lol
2nd time today I've heard about doing I cord
It saves so much time to weave in the ends. Plus it makes a nice cord. I did a quick shorts video on one too. 😉🙂
Mine keeps adding across when you do the 2nd double crochet 8. I cannot figure out what you mean by bringing it to the height. Help.
What part are you talking about? Can you give me a time stamp and I will be able to help you better 🙂🙂
