This one is my personal favorite. It sounds like you combined Mystic Cave Zone with a truly original piece. Also, it's inclusion in the Sonic Worlds Level Collab is great :3
Yup, I know the one you're talking about! It's a morph lead, and it wasn't VOPM, it was actually performed on my Yamaha M08 keyboard. It's one of the signature tones I used throughout Sonicesque, which I thought gave it a unique character. I love the instrument.
Sounds great, man... I love trying these tunes with the different levels of the Genesis games. Of course, it's pretty obvious that this goes awesomely with Sonic 2's Mystic Cave Zone.
@KGB525 It must have been hella hard for composers back in the day. Anyway, what format can you export these as? It would be could if they could be exported as VGM. (Genesis midi file)
I'm looking through the opm files for VOPM and I can't find this one instrument that I can hear here. Kinda sounds like a 'Woah' sound. Don't know if you get what I mean, but I can't describe it.
Hmmm, I can't really easily make a midi of it, since many of the parts were recorded performances on my keyboard. I could give you a midi of the bass though! That's probably the trickiest part to figure out.
This is technically better sounding than Mystic Cave. This track for example is using brass hi-hat cymbals and has stereo reverb on the drums, something the Mega Drive couldn't do. I still think Sonicesque Volume 1 is your best album in the series Karl.
I can perfectly visualize the level: during a midnight thunderstrom with harsh rainfall, in a field of tall weeds and mud, rickety bridges connecting treetops, and the occasional enteing a haunted house. Badniks should be Grabber (spider from Chemical Plant), Sol (from Hill Top, it'd be fitting to see a will-o-wisp esque badnik), and the ghosts from the scrapped Genocide City.
I love this track. Catchy as Hell.
so true johnny boy
Same here
This puts all classic sonic games to shame. This is great
This sounds a lot like Mystic Cave Zone.

I love this music, so does everyone at my job. You really hit the mark, Sega should be begging to work with you.
Thank you! I really appreciate that. That would be a dream...If only I knew how to get their attention :)
@@KGB525You pretty much already are getting their attention at this point.
@@YellowHatMario Oh really? I hope so! It's my dream to score a Sonic game one day!
@SuperPoxuz I'm glad you dig.
@PapercutTwilight Thanks! Man, that would be awesome.
Thanks!
@KGB525 Did you use the OPM for Mystic Cave zone for this song? Because I have no clue how to operate VOPM, too many sliders.
Got here from Sonic Worlds Level Collab. When I heard it, I was like, WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND THIS TRACK!? Brilliant work.
Dude, you are the only one who can make the soundtracks for the remaining episodes of Sonic 4.

Mystic Cave Zone meets ToeJam & Earl! Great tune!

The level names you've made up for these songs are very intriguing. I would love to see what these levels would be like.
@dissident93 yeah, VOPM rocks!
Definitely just as eerie sounding as Mystic Cave, I love it! Great job on this!
@dissident93 no kidding! yeah, i imported the opm for mystic cave zone. i import opms for all the songs i do.
I think this remains your best one. Although that song on your site is kinda catchy too. haha

Sweet. As!
Oh man this was sweet! The bass sounds delicious.

@DNLtheAlt thanks. hmm, i didn't know it was used in that. ..

@MamaLuigiBarrelRoll thanks dude. That would be awesome. I wonder how I could get Sega's attention?
Duck Tales - Transylvania Another:)
Your work should be in Sonic Generations as unlockable tracks.
reminds me of that damn lvl in sonic 2 with all lightning bugs... cave lvl or something
Mystic Cave Zone
That'd be interesting to hear.
SGB sent me
Cool, thank you!
Thank you. Me too.
@sonikku1011 Thank you!
@dissident93 yea, that would be cool. I can only export them either as wav or mp3.
@MrGamefreak197 Yeah, I can totally see that.

Made it to Sonic Origins!
Mystic Cave Act 2, now this zone can have a mod in sonic mania

Mystic Cave? I think that's what it's called.
Kind of reminds me of something that would be in a Halloween special of Hey Arnold.
@KGB525 Now that, I don't know.
Oops, I forget to read the info. Sorry!
I bet this would work as a 16-bit Pumpkin Hill.
SomecallmeJohnny sent me here!
Mystic Cave Zone 2: Electric Boogalo
@SomecallmeJohnny OMFG THE ALMIGHTY JOHNNY HAS COMMENTED XD
I see bats and ghouls as badniks for this level...
Haha kinda kreepy but a great Mystic Cave zone style song
Okay, well thanks anyway.
Thanks!
