Hey TNT and family. I mentioned before Todd when you think of solar. Think big. Like think more than you will ever use. Like I said in one of your other videos when I installed the solar arch make is you can add things to it. No after thoughts. A place for your radar. I made mine to accommodate 3 x 320 watt mono panels. And I used a Morning Star MTTP charge controller. On the starboard side I had a mount made off the side of the solar arch for the Silentwind gen. They come in 12,24 and 48 volt, depending how you set up your battery bank. No noise or vibration from the Silentwind. I have seen too many people put them on the mast. Do you really want to go up there and service that puppy. Not me brother. Keeping my feet close to the deck. I made the mount so I can easily detach the gen. Working along with ya Great video

Dang! That’s a lot of solar!! Gotta love it! What brand did you go with? Being ketch rigged, we’ve got a radar dome on that mast. We’ve been doing a lot of thinking on the wind generator location.

I just rebuilt our anchor winch and rewired it - so did you
I also put my boat on the slip and changed the shape of my rudder to get my prop to work properly - you did a similar GRP repair job to your bow also
We Installed some through holes for a transducer and repaired others - so did you
We just repaired screw holes in my decks with thickened epoxy - also so did you
    A very strange coincidence.
I just installed new lifelines - if you are doing that, then need to get a restraining order!
    Cheers - great vid.

LOL! Oh good! We aren’t even close to that project yet. 🤣 What kind of boat are you working on?

First law of RUclips: If you didn't video it, it didn't happen.

Spoondrifters my old boat is a Cape Barren Goose - Blue Moon. She is only 37 feet. Built by a local legend here in Australia in the late 70s - Geoff Baker. If you google Berrimilla - she is the 33 ft version of my boat. Berri is a Brolga 33 -also built by Geoff.

Talking of daft questions: Is the epoxy too thick to suck up into the Syringe, rather than filling it cake icing bag style? Since you can use the syringe to inject the resin, I would think that it would be possible to fill it by suction.

Good question David! We did try sucking it up but it was kinda like the bottom of an icee when you get more air than ice? We found squeezing it into the top and pushing it down with the plunger worked better. 👍🏻

Why not from the bag into the holes direct?

Spoondrifters Now I'll have to delete the question so that I don't look daft. 😉

Where'd y'all get them monster syringes from? I could also say first, but that's not me, I'm just early to your show. Thanks for the info.

Hey Jack! Thanks for watching. We got them from Jamestown Distributors. 👍🏻
