Great video Dave! Love the action on that rod as well!! What rod and model is it? Currently looking for a new bream/ flatty combo! Cracking day out there - good to see you found a window in this horrible rainy/ windy season 😂
It’s a 1 to 3 kg Daiwa Bream Tournament Specialist I’ve had it for years I don’t think they make them anymore just designed for small plastics or small crank bait not really designed for chasing bigger Flathead but I’ve caught some crackers on it. Light drag light hands great fun 👊👊
Enjoy your content, always a good watch. Why stuff with the drag so much? @6 mins in the drag is constantly being varied. Is it do to do with the light gear?
I ‘m just fishing an 8lb leader and I just like to keep backing it off so I don’t get bitten off I never know if the lure is all the way down their mouth. I’ve caught some really big Flathead like that and rarely lose them.
Hi Dave , never get sick of watching fish being caught no matter what they are , great tips as usual.keep them coming.thanks mate
