Hellenic Black Metal from London!
Vestia are one of the prime forces shaking up UK Black Metal with young blood, fresh ideas, and an energized attitude.
The band was founded in 2022 in a rehearsal basement in London by rhythm guitarist and vocalist Dylan Wainberg (Elegy) and lead guitarist Ioannis Tsakiris (Giannis) later joined by drummer Io Cutmore (Galilean Incarnation) and bassist Max Stiles (Ephialtes).
Their aim is to build a bright future for UKBM, inspiring others among their age bracket to create the music they love whilst coming together to reestablish a connected community.
They find their sound by combining elements of Hellenic Black Metal using Greek mythology as their main influence on lyrics and the ambience of Atmospheric Black Metal to create a unique concept for the genre.
