Great content! I liked Dylan Blue but it only lasted about 3 hours on me. However, I got a sample of Eros Flame and it projected for about 6 hours and I could still smell it subtly at the end of the day. Got some male and female complements in the few days I wore it. Wife, daughter, and a few of their friends liked it too. It's different than what I normally wear (Dylan Blue, Light Blue, Creed, Issey) but I liked the scent and longevity.
Love the opening. Isn’t that the amazing thing about fragrance? It’s an expression of me. I know complement factor always plays a role for a lot of ppl. But at the end of the day it’s about what makes me happy!!
Terre D' Hermes is one fragrance i can't stop reaching for, i wear the edt in the warmer months here in the midwest and the edp in cooler months. Can't begin to guess how many compliments i have gotten while wearing
It feels like just recently we were celebrating your 100k subs and now just a few months later, up another 20k subs. You are doing great! Glad more people are gravitating toward the best of RUclips.
I feel either keeping the pictures up or maybe using the time stamping that some other channels use would be tremendously helpful. Thanks as always for the content Ash
I've never been sold on the while day/night summer/winter way of categorising something like fragrance/perfumes. For me is always about what I feel like so a description of the feel of the fragrance works much better than describing a situation/scenario. Sometimes I want something fresh, sweet, light, sometimes I want something that sits low, is comforting like a hug, like something you can fall into like a duvet. Those things aren't related to a time of year or time of day.
Exactly my thoughts, although sometimes I like to switch my fragrances when the sun goes down. Today I felt like wearing something classy, easily wearable and simewhat fresh and I went with Acqua di Gio Profumo. Tonight will probably rain down here and I might switch to Terre d'Hermés for that cozy, woody and rainy vibe.
Another Aventus-esque fragrance I stumbled onto is Jaguar Ultimate Power For Men. It's like Aventus but with added mint. Decent performance and RIDICULOUSLY affordable, too
Nice video! Out of my collection if I had to pick a single perfume for all the seasons, all temperatures and all circumstances, it would be Terre d Hermes parfum.
@Christopher Moore My understanding is that Eau de Parfum has a higher concentration of the oils in the fragrance. This translates to a more potent product, meaning higher sillage and longevity. Eau de toilette however highlights the top notes more than the middle and base. So depending on what your favourite notes of a fragrance are should dictate which one you get. If you find a Parfum to be too intense, switch to toilette and vice versa.
I find more similarities between Dylan Blue and Mont Blanc Legend especially in the dry down. They both had this soapy scent to them and it was upsetting to me as I bought them together for their versatility but they are SO similar 😕
I love your videos! I just enjoy that its casual and I can even just play this while I'm doing things around the house and actually still understand what is going on. Keep up the great videos
It’s unisex, but Acqua Di Parma Oud (not colonia oud, it’s a black bottle) is an all year round fragrance, it’s like a soapy citrus, with a generous helping of a warm, resinous Oud. It’s truly a fantastic niche frag.
I once spoke to a Acqua di Parma seller and she old me that there isn't a difference between the brown and the block bottles. It's just a redesign, but the juice is the same.
@@itsouden6201 they absolutely are the same. Aqua di parma is discontinuing the brown bottle cologne concentreè version and switching to new edp's which are in the black bottles, different concentration but absolutely the same scents.
Jeremy Hinze can’t be, the new line smells far more natural, the colonia line smells very synthetic, and I don’t think a concentration change can completely change the scent quality of the ingredients, might just be me though.
Great list and I enjoyed it and I like Versace Dylan blue and both of the chanel fragrances and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
When you said 212 is not heavy... Wow! 212 is what I think of when I think about sillage and projection! It projects and lingers more than any other fragrance on this list! It is very heavy and hard to remove from clothing! Come on man! At least you give it the attention it deserves but what you said isn't 100% true. This fragrance is better than a vast majority of these fragrances that appear over and over in these cliche lists recently yet get no mention whatsoever. Thanks to you it is mentioned for the first time (that I remember) since Jeremy mentioned it
Again, thanks for the right volume of your intro theme music 🎶 playing at perfect level in your video as background music. Keep doing that occasionally. I love it
SEE, the first 30 seconds of this video is why I follow your advice over most others. Real talk. I'd bet you're my age too.....listen to Tool n Pearl Jam over Taylor Swift or whatever. Thanks for all the help man. It's been great getting guidance like this through my 'self improvement mode" during the pandemic. All the best to you and yours.
I bought Noir Sport after watching Timmy’s review and I just can’t wear it. It’s way too out there for me and I just don’t like how it smelled off my skin. But I love the look of the bottle and as you mentioned, super cheap online.
@6:00 That comment is spot on! I'm on the "older" lot, definitely like the original Terre de Hermes EDT, the Parfum, and even Rasasi Fattan (which I think is somewhere between those two) but I don't find the Eau Tres Fraiche too appealing. Younger guys on the other hand, e.g Timmy from Imagine Scent, seems to not only prefer the latter, but he just can't stand the original Terre de Hermes. If I recall correctly his comments, he kind of hates the original, but loves the Eau Tres Fraiche. At least for me, an older guy, if I feel it's too hot weather for the OG Terre de Hermes, I would rather pick any of the following way over Eau Tres Fraiche: Mugler Cologne, Chanel Allure Edition Blanche EDP, Dior Homme Cologne, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne, Prada L'Homme L'Eau, Caron Pour un Homme Sport, Zara Vibrant Leather, even Guerlain Homme EDP
Great video, well-thought-out yet relaxed. I love Terre D'Hermès and Aventus, but only the latter works as an all-year fragrance for me. TdH EdT/EdP are a bit too heavy in hot weather. The EdC probably fills this gap, but I don't own it as it lacks what is to me the essence of TdH.
Terry Dactyl I agree with you. I like it all the time except for extreme heat when outdoors. I often get compliments but....have you noticed that recent batches are don’t perform as well?
Awesome viddy and great list! Have quite a few of these, and totally agree. Heard that Blue Jay in the background throughout the video. Guess he also liked the list. Be well Ash!
I would go YSL and Azzaro. Prada LRB is popular but I find it too powdery for me. Azzaro WBN is a bigger compliment getter if that is what you are looking for.
I think Tom Ford for Men and the Noir line except extreme (abd maybe some of the feminine ones) got discontinued. I don't see it on their website anymore
I continue to get compliments from both men and women on Explorer. I really enjoy it and love that I can still catch whiffs of it even at the end of a long day.
Coach is versatile and easily wearable imo. Nothing extraordinary or mind blowing, but it makes you smell fresh and clean. You might get some compliments for sure, but if you are looking for those you might wanna go for other fragrances (paying attention not to pick the most offensive or loud ones since you are in a closed environment).
Encre Noire Sport still has that scent from the original one - classy smell & not sporty at all. You can probably wear this if you wanna do workout in a funeral home - meaning it's not really for the gym.
Versace signature is my go to for anything on me i can dress it up or down it just works for me. I get compliments on it every time. I have a backup to my backup
i honestly just watch the weather and go off of that... i have below 70 degree weather fragrances and above 70 degree weather fragrances. wearing something bright and fresh on a dark cold day just feels off. lol. that being said.... ill wear fall/winter fragrances on colder summer nights.
Hahaha... I also have had that situation where you ask yourself in what were you thinking when applying the fragance, speacially in close enviroments...
Love the backdrop! Crisp, clean looking video - and a great list Ashton! Chanel Egoiste is where it's at!
I appreciate your time and recommendations. Some of these are products that I wasn't familiar with.
If there was ever any doubt about this man’s fragrance knowledge and ability to articulate them, this video removes all doubt. Great job!
You need to keep the pictures of those frags on the screen in such type of videos..

Mad respect for the opening 👍 I try to stick to seasons but mostly I wear what I want so I’m all over the place
I feel either keeping the pictures up or maybe using the time stamping that some other channels use would be tremendously helpful. Thanks as always for the content Ash
I love the Platinum Egoiste, but in fall/winter I'd chose the normal Egoiste.
I love the original Egoïste but avoid it in the hot days.
I've never been sold on the while day/night summer/winter way of categorising something like fragrance/perfumes.

I agree for the most part, but extreme temperatures can change my perception of a fragrance. So weather sometimes influences what I choose.
Well said. I've always worn whatever I want regardless of weather and season.
Another Aventus-esque fragrance I stumbled onto is Jaguar Ultimate Power For Men. It's like Aventus but with added mint. Decent performance and RIDICULOUSLY affordable, too
Love Encre Noire & Carolina Herrera 212 Men. I'm get Encre Noire Sport this fall.

Thank you for this list. Very useful and explained well. Your knowledge and passion for fragrances is exceptional.
I find more similarities between Dylan Blue and Mont Blanc Legend especially in the dry down. They both had this soapy scent to them and it was upsetting to me as I bought them together for their versatility but they are SO similar 😕
Which one is better though?
I think they couldnt be any farther apart scent wise
Some of the frags you said were pretty surprising and very different from what I had in mind. Great list 🤜👍
please include the name of fragrance together with the link.. thanks
I love your videos! I just enjoy that its casual and I can even just play this while I'm doing things around the house and actually still understand what is going on. Keep up the great videos
Prada Amber L'Homme is a nice church boy daytime soap scent. Perfect for attending noon mass on Easter Sunday.
No green Irish tweed? I thought that would make it for sure.
Smells like an outdated old man.

Silvio Dante The brown bottles are the Colonia Line, the black bottles are a different line, the juice is not the same, trust me.
@@itsouden6201 I've smelled both (not Oud, but Vaniglia) and they smelled absolutely the same. And the Browns bottles aren't sold anymore.

I’ve never smelled Aventus but I love Explorer. The only Creed I’ve smelled was Original Vetiver at upscale mall at Christmas.
Thanks for the list. I was shocked to find a bottle of Tom Ford for Men at a Bealls Outlet a couple of years ago.
Again, thanks for the right volume of your intro theme music 🎶 playing at perfect level in your video as background music. Keep doing that occasionally. I love it
Yes! Perfect

After trying Mont Blanc Legend I see it as a mass appealing fragrance , ( from years past ) and out shined by those of today.

I’m surprised Armani Acqua Di Gio Profumo didn’t make the list, I think it’s a great year round fragrance, but obviously I’m no expert.

What's intriguing about Tom Ford For Men is that it is based on the idea of Gucci Envy For Men and YSL M7 without actually being like them.
I just bought a sample of Percival recently and it smells freakin awesome man!! I was surprised
Heyy Ash can you do a review of some Baldesarini fragrances? Maybe the Signature?
Prada Luna Rossa Black or YSl Nuit de L'Homme?
1 million Prive vs Azzaro wanted by night?
Infamous Aries 1. YSL and 2. Azzaro

YSL! One of the best designer scents ever
Much respect for Terre Hermes by Hermes. It’s not new but great parfume, so a lot thinks that it’s not cool to talk about it.
Alway's look out for the content's you put out bro👍👍shout out from Jamaica💯💯
I’m confused, you said you wouldn’t wear Encre noire sport to the gym, but you actually have this fragrance in your top 10 gym fragrances🤔
@@BourbonInhibitions 😁
I love the scent though....one of my best bang for buck frags
If you want Aventus, Go for Mercedes Benz Select (the normale one) it smells like Aventus so much. and its cheaper. its a perfect cheap Aventus Clone
But what about aqua digio line
On Creed's website it says Green Irish Tweed is all season. Not sure about that one
I really admire the Vetiver intense version from the Terre d`Hermes line .. it is also very an all year around no`brainer .
Dior Eau Sauvage EDP is getting hard to find and if you find it it’s sell around 350$
Ash, you have reviewed Kenzo, L'eau Par Kenzo Pour Homme ?
Theory: Aventus is a blue with pineapple added to the citrus in the opening.
Hey Ash can you do a top 10 longest lasting beast mode freshies?
I’m i the only one who find the term “beast mode” corny..? Everytime I hear/read it, i cringe
I think Tom Ford for Men and the Noir line except extreme (abd maybe some of the feminine ones) got discontinued. I don't see it on their website anymore
Suggestion: Ashton when doing these videos please add the longevity and projection numbers 🙏🏾👍🏽
But if he did that he wouldn't get as much watch time to boost his Channel numbers🤨 still love him tho lol

I continue to get compliments from both men and women on Explorer. I really enjoy it and love that I can still catch whiffs of it even at the end of a long day.
Suggestion: Could you pls add names of fragrances next to the respective link in the description?
Love your videos! Greetings from Madrid, Spain!
I now want a video cautionary tales when wearing fragrance.
Hello Ashton, how are you? Great job on the video as usual. Stay safe
Is there a cheaper alternative to Prada amber?
BULGARI BLV
So, no Acqua Di Gio Profumo?
You know I was contemplating if that would make this list?
Great video Ash!!!
Love Platinum Egoiste

i dont know if Tere de Hermes EDT got Iso E super, but i smell alot less after 30 mins

Great top 10 list. Been waiting for this one. Thanks!
Mont blanc legend or mont blanc legend spirit which is better?
I like both but spirit smells better imo. I get more compliments with spirit
My all Year Fragrances are Acqua die Gio Profumo, Creep Aventus and Dior Sauvage.

Grey Vetiver?
