@@ItsMeINKMASTER Silverlight is a mod menu(/the closest thing we have to a "hack client") for Splatoon, which is publicly available. It does have some cheat modules(/"hacks") built in, but they are disabled in public matches, so it shouldn't allow anyone to cheat, unless they HACK THE MOD MENU, but they'll just get banned from pretendo network lmao. Aside from being able to mess around with the cheat modules in private matches (I think?), it offers some quality of life improvements, like news skipping (why would you want that but ok), improved performance allowing for 60FPS plaza and battle dojo and less lag with bomb rush for example, true 480p rendering mode for EVEN MORE PERFORMANCE, etc. There are some great things planned for it, and its creators recognize the importance of discerning non-Silverlight users from Silverlight users. So, when you're using Silverlight, SL★ is appended to your publicly visible username, and this can't be disabled. So what I basically did by adding SL★ to my s3 username in the same fashion, is roleplay as if I'm playing s1 and using silverlight xd (Also, now you know what it means if you see someone with SL★ before their username lol)
