Didn't know about tracking in quick shots.
Also the swap between subject track and location explains subject loss / off target towards the end of quick shots.

Thanks again Matthew. As this is now a few months old is the only option for AE lock still to assign one of back buttons. I had a perfect example when doing a circle around my house - ruined by light then dark. Thanks again for all the info and the way you explain it. 👏👏

You always have great tips Matthew. Thanks again for a great video. I do use quickshots often and I had not thought of locking the exposure. I do use the feature to draw the box on landscape or fixed items instead of people. Finally, the transitions are always an inspiration! Thanks.

Great video as always Matthew. Always something to learn from these. I only have a mini 2 so not as many quickshots. Really miss the "track" feature though, even my Spark had that feature !
Thank you. You can use the circle quickshot mode to do a very basic track with the Mini 2, and I used to do that all the time with mine. Might be worth trying out!

Thank you Matthew for making this video with these tips. A lot of people seem to think 'oh Quickshots are only for dummies (for lack of a better word) and amateurs' and I'm thinking 'who cares, they look cool'. Yeah okay people may think to themselves 'well why would you have a drone doing that automatically for you when you should be able to manually do it yourself' and okay they are right on some level, but what's wrong with the drone doing these moves for you when you just want to make these moves and don't have time to sit/stand there and manually do it yourself? To each their own though.

The best youtuber. Question? Why is it that in some moments the drone starts to rise even though I hold the right stick of the joystick, and when I lower it, it breaks through the height and goes into the minus and I barely land it.😊

Is there a video about the master shots mode on the dji mini 3 pro?
Any tips on avoiding bird attacks lol, My Mini 3 just got destroyed by a seagull, lucky i had the care refresh but now im scared to fly.
The only advice I have found that works is to stay away from them! If I see one circling my drone I always land and just go somewhere else, ha.

I’ve noticed something odd when using quick shots, if you set video capture to MOV instead of MP4 in the menus, when selecting a quick shot it always records in MP4 🤔. Are you experiencing this by any chance?? Much appreciated in advance 👍🏼

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm confused why you use AE Lock when the camera is in Auto mode. Doesn't the Auto mode take care of this?
AE Lock stops the exposure changing while you are recording. You don't want massive changes in exposure while recording and so AE lock prevents this.
Hi Matthew. Enjoyed and learnt a lot form this video. Question when selecting a quickshot mode, a tutorial type clip appears on the screen. Any way of turning that off? It annoys me while I am trying to track a subject especially when the subject is moving ( down a rapid for example).

Any tips on how to Master the Exposure? My Histogram is RARELY centered, its most of Times to one of the sides, or very low in the middle. Trying to up my game

Hey! Some of these shots used an ND filter and some didn't. This time of year the sun is either out full blast needing an ND or it can be very dull in which case an ND is not needed! Hope that helps!
