See, this is where the destruction in Rap comes from is the lack of knowledge, Drill literally means to fight or retaliate so it’s not like it’s not Rap. It is but the “drill” part is the lyrics of retaliation. If you’re not rapping about a fight or retaliation on the street then it’s not drill. that’s where it’s damaging. That’s like saying, you could be a gangster rapper, but none of your lyrics have to do with a gang or trap wrapping and not talking about traps at all that would make no sense. It would still be wrap but you’re not of those sub genres. Since it came out its only purpose is dissing. When you have an umbrella term like hip-hop or rap, it’s good to have a clear identification of the different subgroups so they all don’t get lumped together ❤️

When you've been shot 8 times resulting in the death of your brother and others, then ambushed in Waycross Georgia resulting in the death of one of your friends when do you decide that enough is enough! Now he's been arrested on Jacksonville Beach knowing he isn't supposed to be around guns but he's sitting in the back of the SUV with a rifle, Draco and 5 other guns in that rented Suburban. He's bonded out and free for now but he's going to be prison for decades all because he didn't use common sense. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.
