As someone who grew up on the border I've never understood it, as his friend said in the video *every* country has more dangerous and more safe areas. Mexico is a gorgeous country with amazing food, it's ridiculous to paint it with such a broad brush.

And now coming here to my country and showing a huge part of the culture and history of Mexico for others to see in such a honoring and respectful way is so cool dude. I appreciate it so much. Glad you had fun!

Fun fact: I’m sure I have one of the rarest Hawlucha’s out there. I was going to Mexico, and moments before I lost connection (and more importantly, the game didn’t register me in Mexico) there was a Hawlucha. So I have a Hawlucha under “Ajo, Az, United States”. Correct me if that’s not rare.
Edit: This was earlier this year during the summer, with my family.

The one thing I've learned being with my boyfriend who's Mexican-American is that the culture is so beautiful and vibrant. There are SO many amazing UNESCO sites in Mexico that I want to visit (specifically the Monarch butterfly bioreserve and Veracruz for the OG vanilla), but your video really surprised me in the parallels between how Dia de los Muertos is celebrated and how my people celebrate Lunar New Year. What an awesome video I loved every single part of it. As a Oaxacan, seeing you capture those moments during Día de Los Muertos touched my heart in so many levels. I went to visit Oaxaca city when i was about 10 years old back in 2007-08 and seeing el Arbol Del Tule gave me goosebumps. Now I'm feeling more excited going to visit in a couple weeks for my parents hometown festival and going to visit Oaxaca city!

I've been following you for some time and I enjoyed this video so much, I'm happy you got to witness Día de Muertos on Oaxaca, it is one of our biggest and more beautiful traditions. I didn't even noticed that almost 45 minutes have passed!

I went to Mexico city at the end of September for a wedding and i had a blast! My mom was SO worried about me for basically no reason. It wasn't really any rougher than NYC or downtown SF. I didn't get hassled to buy any mixtapes and no one's car got smash n' grabbed. It was a beautiful city with beautiful vibrant culture. Great video!!

Oh man this video brought back so many memories of Mexico. I lived in Mexico for 2 1/2 years from 18-21 it was a wonderful time. I miss so much about Mexico, the freedom the food my culture. I think it was explained very well, you do have to be more aware but that goes for any country you travel to.

Awesome video Nick. Really enjoy the POGO/travel combo vlogs. Giggled at the Daxi shout out. I had a similar shiny Sableye run during the Hoenn Tour this year, caught 3 in 2 days including 2 in back to back field research tasks on Day 2.

Nick forgetting the shiny shadow Sableye and saying he got no shinies during the Halloween event is so funny 😂
