I agree. This game has become extremely boring. They need new game modes and more events. Do a roguelike mechanic on solo . Or do 3 diamond and below only pvp.

Yea getting the star flair on prof oak or something I'll use in every deck is cool, but I got the first flair of a # of commons I have a lot of and most of them do not have cool ones even for the final flair. And this event flair is terrible 😒 they couldn't have given us an actually cool 3D fire effect flair or something? Then maybe I'd do it
I wish that the rare picks cost 2 stamina. As it is now, they don't feel that different from regular picks. I'll try for these ones since I don't have any Arcanines, but the Chansey/Meowth ones were so bad.
I’m very sad about the Black Friday deal, they’re not even worth it. You’re only saving $10 from the $6+$15 deal and another $10 saved from the $50 pack. But if you were to buy the $100 option, you would still be matching up near the same amount of gold you would only be 30 gold short. So even then the $50 is very much not worth it. I would say the first two smaller packs are better but these choices suck if they barely match up with buying in bulk, what’s the point of a Black Friday sale if there barely as good as the biggest bundle in the shop!!!
@tarlozh7388 hopefully there’s constant deals for every new release pack and holidays, because then it would make sense for how little you save during this Black Friday. A constant sale every month or two months would make the value of these recent Black Friday sales make sense. Hopefully they do this cause then I would actually spend more money this way and that’s what they want out of casual players🤞

The Arcanine EX flare isn't restricted to cards you get after the event start, I already had 4 of them prior to event start and I was able to get the limited time flare with my existing Arcanine EX.
I only have 2 Arcanine EX and I'm not wasting my wonder picks just to maybe get one to turn into a flair. especially since you can only equip 1 flair to 1 Pokemon. rn I'm saving my wonder picks for the last 2 Kanto mons I need for Mew.
The charizard person here: so happy the wonder pick event does include charizard, because since posting I pulled that immersive charizard ex, I pulled ANOTHER one, another normal charizard ex, and a full art charizard .. if it weren’t for this event, I’d be convinced I’d be pulling a charizard crown rare before a single regular charizard lol

for f2p players it might be worth just saving up shop tickets for the monthly pack hourglasses rather than the wonder pick hourglasses. Just my opinion but you need 180 for the 10 of the 6x pack hourglasses and however much more for the other smaller sets
Fire event is 2nd event in a row that nerfed pika Mankey being more prevalent and Arcanine being mire prevalent is both good things for the health of the metagame
For the people interested in if the deals are worth it: the $100 pack is the best nonevent value at 6.9 gold per dollar (gpd) 30+30 deal is 60 gold for $6 (10 gpd) 75+39 deal is 114 gold for $15 (7.6 gpd) 250+110 deal is 360 gold for $50 (7.2 gpd) All of the deals are more gold per dollar than the best normal value, however they for some reason seem to become less value as the price increases which is atypical in this type of game. If you are a whale you should buy all 3 since they are better than the typical gpd rate, but if you just spend a little bit on occasion then the $6 pack is what you would want to go for and you can ignore the others since they aren’t too much better value than what is available everyday. (Obviously if you’re f2p just ignore this comment lol)
If they allow cards with flair being traded.... imagine down the line how valuable an arcanine ex with original promo flair would be. It's very possible they just don't allow trading of flaired cards though
Saw event, went to wonder pick, no rare pick ,opend pack, leave game. At this point there is nothing to do after 2 free packs. Sad bcs launch was one od most fun iv had in days...

They will make trading limited and they may lock the harder to get cards down so you can’t trade them so you have to buy the packs
