I can't get audio from from microphone or HDMI source in my Atem Mini Pro. I have change cables but still the same problem. I need Help Please

Hi Zephan, I have been having issues with colorspace on hdmi outs. The venue's projector which I work in accepts only rgb colorspace input. Hence if I connect a hdmi output from the atem mini to the projector it gives off a yellowish white wash. I plugged in my macbook directly to the projector, it gave off a purple tint because the only hdmi output color space for macbook is ypbpr.
I also tried updowncross which is only yuv hdmi output.
What can I do? I know some splitters do convert colorspace but at the point of purchase, almost all sellers do not specify the hdmi output colorspace.
Desperately needing help.
Have you tried a Decimator MD-HX? Usually fixes most things for me.
With HDMI incompatibility (Problem #1) even BMD haven't been able to help me ... ATEM switchers are just incompatible with tons of monitors.
And buying $1000 production monitor for $200 ATEM switch not a good hint :D.
There are two easy fixes for this (one is expensive too)
One is 20-30$ HDMI repeater of which most of the models have HDMI Loopback port ... so you need to plug ATEM output to this repeater and monitor to HDMI loopback ... works with all of my monitors.
The other one is Atomos Ninja ... same thing ATEM HDMI out to Ninja, Ninja HDMI Out to Monitor ... works with 95% of monitors tested :D.
Thanks for the info Zephan, we've been battling against the cache issues ever since we switched to Unifi as our network. Have you ever encountered it? We avoided it by not using https but rather http in the key. But recently it's happened again.
To be honest I stopped using the built in encoder a long time ago. I mostly use a Magewell Ultra Encode AIO and love it.
@@zephanmosesI have been having caching issues throughout many of my streams and I have not been able to discover why. Internet speed and latency has been strong.
Is it an encoder issue in your experience?
How do you know if your selected camera (not purchased yet) will work in port 1&2 on an extreme? Is there something I should be looking for in the manual of the camera?
This is a tough one because it’s not something that’s just written in the manual or camera specs and a lot of this can be fixed by using different cables or converters in between the camera and the ATEM. Once you switch to SDI it doesn’t become an issue anymore. This is why I keep Decimator MD-HX scalers with me because typically they’ll fix my issue.
Great point ... for those individuals having "issues" having the all the information for troubleshooting is kinda important

Do you recommend using blackmagic cameras and ATEM Extreme ISO for sports streaming, ex soccer?
To be honest I don’t use Blackmagic cameras myself. If you’re doing fast movie work you’ll want better autofocus.

Ha the editing credit goes to my editor overseas. He’s been great and doing all of my edits the last 6 months.
I got one, and it was great for a while before it completely crashed during a broadcast and stopped working entirely. It was within six months, so I got a replacement. The second one, again, worked for a while, but then one day, the audio wouldn't connect. Then another day, the machine just stopped connecting to the computer. Now, it's collecting dust. This was an ATEM Mini pro. I'm still on the look out for the best switcher. I'm currently using a RGB link mini pro, which is more reliable, but still has its quirks.
I’m sorry to hear you had that experience. I’ve definitely noticed fewer issues with the SDI models now that I’ve made the switch. But I agree every switcher has quirks.
