The m1pl and m1pr are backwards from every other video I’ve watched. When I turned the work over, the lean was going the wrong/opposite way than the intended direction.

I'm knitting a hat. I'm supposed to have 70 stitches and now I have 69. Have any tips? Can I do this method?
