These concealers, dupes or not, are so good for the fact that they have a 25 colour shade range and for a UK drugstore concealer that is a milestone in our beauty community, so impressed with it

You need to buy THREE of the 7$ concealer to reach the amount that shape tape has. That is 21$! So for 6$ difference might as well get the best seller concealer in the world!

they can both have 18 shades but you have to look at the shades if 9/12 are light and the rest are dark and other brand is 6 and 6 who really has the better shade range

I HATE the shape tape. I'm 41 not 21 and have fine lines/wrinkles under my eyes which are very dry. Shape tape emphasizes EVERY SINGLE ONE, DOES crease, and makes me look 10 years older. So maybe if you're under 30-35 (because my under eyes looked much better up until 35) but for 35+ shape tape is not great for most people. I need a creamy, moisturizing under eye concealer and would love if you'd test the new models own full coverage concealer!

I think that's because it's a bit lighter. I have come to the realisation that when a product is lighter, imperfections tend to seem a bit more obvious than a darker shade.

They all got sent pr, so it wasn't like she went to the shop and discovered it and no one else was going to talk about it ever without her video. Its talked about because they got PR on it.

When I tried the 2 concealers side by side I found that the c3 oxidised under my eyes a little but honestly, I don’t think it was as full coverage as shape tape. But it was still full coverage just not as a much. Is that just me?

Jenny Eddins really? I never found my shape tape (fair) to oxidise. Maybe because I set it with a light powder? But I will maybe go a day setting it with translucent powder so I can see it better😊
Anna Sloss I've used fair and fair neutral. I don't notice it a lot when I apply it to my face, but when I've swatched it on my hand, I can really notice it.

Awesome quality but I did just want to point out that the price difference isn’t actually very large if the makeup revolution were to be the same size as the tarte. You are getting a lot less product so the lower price makes sense.

Have really been wanting to try the Tarte shape tape but didn't want to drop almost $40, so glad I watched this video! I can now get the same results for way less!
Try the it cosmetics No. 50 serum primer!! I've been loving it! My skin has been drier than ever this winter, so foundations have been looking cakey but that primer makes my foundation so smooth and it makes my skin look super healthy and glowy.

actually notorious means widely known. It started to be used more for bad reasons so people associate it with meaning bad but the true origin of the word is just "widely known", infamous is always bad.

I actually just ran out of my shape tape and I haven’t bought more because even though I love it it’s a little out of my price range right now I think I’m definitely going to give this concealer a try so excited!
I think the difference in the amount of product matters a lot though. You'd need 3 tubes of the Makeup Revolution concealer to equal one tube of Shape Tape, so for the same volume of product, you're only saving $6. That's not nothing, but it's not as dramatic as saving $20. Though if you don't use up your tubes of concealer before they go bad, it's probably better to get the smaller tubes more often.
I watched a video where the artist found that Mary Kay’s concealer is very similar if not better than Shape Tape! Have you tried that yet?

Tarte Shape Tape is the only one I've found that doesn't irritate my skin, it'd be great to buy the Revolution one without the worry of breaking out.

To be honest, the MUR side showed the darkness through from the start, whereas I only saw some darkness peeking through at the end with Tarte...so the $6 difference (by weight) just doesn’t excite me very much.
Christa Swint I think it was the shade she got honestly. It was too light for her.
Her left under eye is a bit darker. You can see that before she applied the concealer.
Christa Swint honestly I have the makeup revolution one and it really doesn’t feel heavy on the skin! Although it probably works out better for me because I’m from the uk and so I can pick it up for £4 (around $6/7)
I was doing the same math. I think I get a darker shade to use for contour before I’d use it for under the eye.
MR is still a good deal for people outside the US who can only get the tarte concealer for at least twice the US price or for anyone who uses very little amounts of concealer or has many concealers open at the same time ;) But I agree the price difference is not that big when you break it down like this so I'd go for the tarte shape tape if I could get my hands on it for 27$.

I’ve never had more than 5 pimples on my face at once and I had about 4 on the side of my cheek so I used tart shape tape and covered them up, in about 4 hours not exaggerating it gave me 26 small pimples all on the left side of my face. And picture day is tomorrow. Yay.
