I’ve been on trt for 17 years now. Changed my life. Had a ct scan of my heart 5 years ago. Calcium score 0. Had it done again 6 months ago, calcium score 0. I have high cholesterol but always have and it runs in my family. Around 220-250. Doesn’t change with diet. No statins, I’ve refused them based on calcium score. I’m now 48 years old. I should note. My t level was 252 at age 32. I’m a large human so 200 mg puts me at a peak of about 750. I split my dose to 100 mg twice a week. I’ve known friends that get the same amount on 70mg per week. Talk to your doctor. Everybody is different.

This is one of the best videos about testosterone and TRT! Jillian did a great job playing the curious newbie and asking almost every question imaginable. And Dr. Peter Attia clearly explained many very complicated things and misconceptions about hormone therapy in a way that anyone can understand. Truly professionals at work. What a pleasure to watch! Good job! Thank you!

Great information in this interview! I'm grateful to the host and her platform for providing this opportunity. Just my two cents: while the host is energetic and fully engaged throughout the conversation, please note it can be quite frustrating from a listener's perspective when the interviewee's thoughts are left unfinished, interrupted, or derailed.

All of her interruptions and talking is ruining the clips and amount of content she could have created but it was ruined because she kept talking just to hear her own voice. Might be the worst interview ever with Peter I’ve ever seen
I'm 51, long-term Type 2 diabetic and have been on TRT for 2 years, TRT changed my life and cleared up fatigue and brain fog. Was thinking he wasn't gonna mention high hemaocrit/high red blood cells, then at the end he did. Mine goes up regularly and I have to have a prescription with Carter Blood Care to donate as often as every 2 weeks if I need to (though I only donate every 4-5 weeks). Even injecting half a dose twice a week I still have to give blood. Some of the other symptoms of high red blood cell count if you go too long without donating that I experience are bad itching, and bad tension headaches, mainly in the back of the neck. The relief is immediate after I donate blood.
I could listen to Peter Attia talk all day. But this interviewer, OMG. Stop with the oohs and aahs and be a professional journalist. So annoying. Sheesh

I’ve been doing the bioidentical pellets for years now (I’m 54). I don’t get the spikes that injections give you. When I started my doctor would do blood tests every 6 months. Now that I have the dosage dialed in he does it once a year. He monitors everything. To prevent the festivals from stopping testosterone production he will prescribe periodic HCG, although the government has made that a lot more expensive to get. I’m down 45lbs, stronger, have more energy, and rarely get sick. A lot of that is because I work out better now, but I believe this is what allows me to.

Yes, but not radically or super easily. Sleep and movement are good starting points.
