we have radar active on our server, but not human controlled. And it is all-seeing so NOE attacks are visible too. Great work guys!

Thanks for the video showing the RCI interface. I am confused by what you can see and cannot see on the radar as the controller. More specifically, you say you cannot see contacts outside of the circles at 8:20 yet there are many contacts outside of those circles that you can see including enemy contacts. Care to elaborate or explain?

Eurgh sorry there seems to have been a problem with the upload. The circles I am referring to are the dashed lines. They are quite faint and were meant to be highlighted in green. The white circles are just showing the location of the radar themselves.
I'll try to fix the video and re-upload later today

Would be fun if il2 made actual radars and made it possible to avoid them by flying low and trying to take them out and things like not being able to see closely spaced targets

What is the minimum detection altitude for this radar? It seems a great add (to share).

It depends how close you are to the radar station. The closer you are, the lower you need to be to stay undetectable

      @@wimwamjoey closer as in...10km? 5?

@@longbowdt the detection zone is shaped like a cone so it scales linearly depending on range. I've found flying below 300m seems to be pretty safe.
I'm not sure if the CB team have released more exact info
