Spent my summer school holdays (1987/1988) in Sharimardon. Back then the town was very easly accessable . I remember the town had a lovely cinema, where I watch a Bollywood movie, Disco Dancer.
Your videos are always so immersing, it's always a joy to get a notification of a new video from you. P.S.: you should consider to put English subtitles in some of your Italian videos, they're amazing!
I've just found your channel. Subbed✔. Why you don't have more subs is a mystery - this is quality and informative content. PS: 24:21 "I'm eating salad because I don't want food poisoning" 😂.
Nice video Dave! You are always a cheerful person who puts others at ease and that is why everyone is happy when they meet you. See the kids on the train, so cute, or any other person. Anyway the video was amazing and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you
Wonderful video, I always love your videos for showing us what it is really like to travel around these places. The kids were wonderful. So heartwarming. You visit amazing and mysterious parts of the world.
What a brilliant video! 56 minutes of pure excitement and I watched it all and enjoyed every minute. What a great adventure and of course, many funny moments with different people. I can't wait to see more videos of Central Asia from you! By the way, about the guy Pavel, I'm sure that I saw him somewhere but I can't remember when and where!!! He looks familiar!!
Great upload! Good lawd I love your channel! Have u been to Baarle-Nassau/ Baarle Hertog? I also want to see you visit Tristan Da Cunha! Much ❤ from Bunbury, Western Australia!
Dear Davide, your videos are like a "Delorean" to me: they bring me back to eighties when as young as now you are I was interested in visiting a still existing East Block! Your a doing a great job! .....ah if I only had today's technology! Bravo ragazzo!
The suspense of not knowing whether you were going to be successful or not kept me watching right through! And on the way we learned a lot about exclaves.
I took a train in the USA from Massachusetts to Washington state just about three days travel we didnt have usb ports hell the outlets didnt work in my car nor the button to call the woman that assists the elderly or disabled i dont have bad disability like i did a couple years ago i had to work hard to get better but on the train didnt see gopniks i just sat next to a drug addict. The Kids are awesome im sure they will grow up to be good guys i feel. Dave your not mr besast. Your Dave the LEGEND. You saved me from horrible depression just watching your vids and it would help me relax and forget bad stuff and this eventually backed me off from doing something lets say really bad and a final act. You r vids mean a lot. Keep rocking. Your the legend so make a damn candy bar like beast i guess did what would be the Legend Bar be made of?
Loving the fact that you are looking at your watch, even thought you don't have one😂 anyways, love your content. much love from sunny Uzbekistan. If you are still here in county we can eat plov together sometime.
While far from being the most inescapable city/town/village in the world or even city of at least 500,000 inhabitants, the most inescapable city of at least 500,000 residents that is in a free country with a high standards of living (in my and probably many peoples opinions) is the city I was born and live in, Winnipeg, MB, Canada (pop slightly under 800,000) In general is not a bad or ugly city but there is not particularly a lot of things to do visit here except from the Manitoba Museum (museum of local and Canadian history and culture) controversial Human Rights Museum (which I don’t particularly care for as it is missing many important human rights issues and also is largely empty as a lot of it’s space is just meant to look nice), the art gallery and the zoo (also the last 2 I don’t particularly care for). Yes there is definitely many cities of at least 500,000 residents that are also not particularly interesting but the additional problem is that once you have fitted in all the fun high/medium key things to do, you don’t have anywhere fun to go. Winnipeg is in the middle of a very boring flat and empty prairie (several times bigger than Germany) and goes all the way 3000 kms south to Texas, 1400 km west to the Rockies, 200 km east to the boreal forest, and 400 km north to the quite boring large prairie-boreal forest transition zone (1000 km north if you wanna exit the prairies totally). The prairies look all the same all these kms. To make things worse the nearest relatively interesting city is Minneapolis which is 700 km southeast and then Edmonton and Calgary 1300 west. The nearest world class cities like Chicago, Vancouver, and Toronto are 1,400 to 2000 kms away. While the relatively close boreal forest to the east is very beautiful (landscape wise nicer than certain interesting regions of Europe) it does not compare to the natural attractions of places like the Rockies hands down. 2 years of Covid lockdowns though useful, sucked big time in Winnipeg especially. If you lived in a city like Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, you had the choice of visiting the nearby national parks throughout all but the first lockdown as national parks generally had lots of room for social distancing. Even if you wanna get away for a short break to a relatively large low key city, it will be a waste of time as the nearest city of at least 100,000 residents is 500 kms away. Winnipeg’s flight connections for a city it’s size are also not great. All it’s flights are domestic, US bound, or charter flights to kitschy all inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. Flights to the US are also somewhat limited. There is no flights to most world class American cities like NY, Washington D.C, or Chicago. Local flights, bus and train travel in Canada and the US is very expensive (unlike Europe or Asia) and the only affordable way out is the low cost airlines whose amount of flight destinations is somewhat limited.
Are you telling me that you won't post anything on the Italian channel this week?😢 Look forward to watching this in the Italian version and I hope you'll post soon the Belarus series on this English channel. Ciao!
watching these videos i often have google maps at hand so that i can check out where the places he mentions are located, i recommend it because it's much more immersive i think!
Awesome video and the weather there was very nice id love to try this myself but i walk with a cane. Do these countries help or have decent access for people with disability or is it a Though S*it. Situation?
developing countries usually don't have proper accessibility for disabled people unfortunately. i would recommend you travel with someone that could assist you in case of need, otherwise it might be dangerous.
In big cities of Uzbekistan almost everybody is bilingual. There might be a problem in country-side, but you can always find a Russian speaking person. I am suprised how good the Uzbek kids in the train speak Russian.
Just a few comments here (from someone who watches your videos frequently), I hope you won’t take them personally; - you’ve mispronounced Kyrgyzstan to the point one could not listen anymore, given your interest in geography and ex Soviet republics, it’s rather surprising. It really doesn’t take too long to learn basic things like this and make an effort to research it properly prior to exploring those places, which without a doubt are interesting. Similar story with other names in Uzbekistan (and other ex Soviet republics), it’s rather important how you pronounce things both in English & Russian so that your viewers (and native speakers of those languages) can better understand you. E.g. Fergana (or Vorkuta in your previous explorations) is pronounced as if you spoke Italian while you actually described it in English / Russian, accent is stressed in the wrong syllable hence often giving the impression that you spoke of entirely different place - quite recently Bald & Bankrupt successfully reached Sokh exclave and all he needed was the current schedule of flights between destination A&B so that he could plan things ahead to buy tickets on time. You speak communicative Russian which should enable you to plan in advance, I guess. Try to get yourself organised and contact places prior to arrival in the local area to have that knowledge that might be helpful in future planning and you might be in better position to achieve your goals One might not think much of the above, but trust me it does make the difference. You often make a great effort to reach places that have not been explored much or not at all and give a great feedback to your viewers, which is plausible. I hope you keep up the good work and push yourself to reach bigger audience with such interesting content. Greetings.

The suspense of not knowing whether you were going to be successful or not kept me watching right through! And on the way we learned a lot about exclaves.
You try to teach the younger generation and THAT is noble. Others should be as considerate and thoughtful as YOU ARE 🎉

Typically an hour -long video on RUclips gets boring - this was fascinating all the way through! 👍
Let me sleep bro😂
Superb these videos. Cheers 👍👍
Great video
And there you are... welcome back!
Yessss you have been missed.
In the middle of f***** nowhere, these kids know RUclips shorts!!!

Loving the fact that you are looking at your watch, even thought you don't have one😂

- А вы живете в Попе?
- Да мы все живем в попе, братан.
Where is Belarus film?
Love the reviewbrah reference
I drove through some Azeri exclaves in Armenia a few years ago... No military there. No people either, but hey, was something geographically cool :D
31:28 sottotitoli in italiano :) gran video sempre belle le tue avventure, quando torni in russia per nuovi federal subjects?
Did you not see Bald and Bankrupt's failed attempt then succumb to the flight to Sokh? Could have saved you a lot of waste.

I have to say, I am amazed at taxi prices in that part of the world. I live in Australia, you see. It costs like $25 USD for a 5 km taxi ride 🤐
Там зарплата у людей около $100 в месяц, конечно там другое ценообразование
In Russia taxi costs less than in Uzbekistan as the gas is cheaper

Stalin's idea was to separate populations into separate regions to make it more difficult for any one populace to try and rise up.
You deseve more views I hope you will visiting Iran as well ❤
I would leave to see you do collab with Bald and Bankrupt. Does your Russian friend have a channel too?
that guy is dodgy
By the way, the country is actually pronounced Kyrgyzstan, not Kyrgygyzstan.
Probably in Italian is pronounced this way
No “cheers, thank you, bye”? 😢
My understanding is that the standard of Russian is quite low in Uzbekistan now. Did you have any issues?
In big cities of Uzbekistan almost everybody is bilingual. There might be a problem in country-side, but you can always find a Russian speaking person. I am suprised how good the Uzbek kids in the train speak Russian.

To be honest I didn't like your travel companion, but it was a great video as always.
First!
Was there 7 years ago... Did my own road trip with gf and crossed into the area without a fuss. Australian passport
