    "48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene is an intriguing exploration of timeless strategies for success. Greene delves into history and human behavior, presenting thought-provoking principles that offer insight into power dynamics. While some find the book's content controversial, it undeniably sparks critical thinking about influence and decision-making. A must-read for those interested in the intricate web of power and manipulation throughout history.

    Did he just say make enemies😅 What???? Also, I've been facing a similar problem lately. When I first meet people, I tend to be very outgoing and center myself in conversations but then I start to become quiet and listen more. I've realized that being too charming can sometimes come across as being arrogant and prideful.

      Yeah deam someone as an enemy if you have none, and then make them a FRIEND, hence former enemy, they will be much more loyal after they have "proven" themselves. Almost every type of organization / military/ fraturnity/cult does something like this, they treat you like the enemy in the beginning, some call it hazing and as bad as it sounds and really is it does create a more loyal follower instead of just being accepted for nothing because they think have more to prove.

    • @ihfakp
      @ihfakp 11 месяцев назад +7

      It depends on what I'm trying to achieve by telling them. Is it social kudos, or is it also a physical kind of success, like money? I don't think that you have to share all of your greatest ideas, but you do need to share enough to give your master the impression that you're on their side and willing to help them. Although there are always exceptions. There are certain ideas that I don't want my master to claim as their own. And I've been in some situations where telling someone something that they didn't know would have resulted in making them feel stupid, which was not my goal.

    This book fails to address "collective responsibility." Sure, any idiot can learn to step on others to get to where he wants to go & encourage others to do the same... but what you are essentially saying is: "fuck my own children & grandchildren" by creating a hostile world where people only look out for themselves.

      it isn’t. it’s actually perfect. you think it’s a hot mess because maybe you don’t want to believe that this world and the ppl in it are a hot mess.
      I see this book honestly as a life saver for autistic and traumatized ppl like myself. now i understand it all

      @@Angel-k1d7eIt’s a HOT MESS. This book is only helpful for knowing how to avoid psychopaths and sociopaths. I said what I said.

      Even traumatized and autistic people shouldn't consider anyone to be his or her master or above them.

      @@Angel-k1d7ei agree for similar reasons. Those of us who aren’t wired to be manipulative have a hard time fathoming that this is how the world is. It’s not about viewing people as better or above others. It’s about learning to play the game when that’s how others view themselves
