I’ve 3rd marked the FV215b and it wasn't the worst experience. It was enjoyable. It’s also interesting that the field mod on the FV215b is bugged and you can get a faster reload which is insane.

For some reason this tank is the best performing tank in my garage, and imma be honest i cannot stand the Carnaevorn as it is for me just a slower Centurion with slightly better alpha (btw i loved my cent 1) so i kinda just abandoned the grind on that line, but then the FV215b came in and man everyone were preventing me from buying it, like, theres more reliable and usable tanks, why even bothering with the FV215B? But i love my wacky and out of meta tanks, i believe riding a bad tanks might just make you a better player overall, and i wanted to prove that i can make this tank work, and for me personally, i dont even need the S Conq, i have my FV215b (although its a bummer i couldn't use it on the onslaught). It might be one of the worst tanks tier for tier in the game, but for me personally, its just the best. I love my FV215b and i love whenever it even just get mentioned, cuz mostly its just a tank that people hates, and even when someone mentions it, that means its not completely forgotten, but still a bummer that nobody really prizes this tank and nobody mentions what this tank can really do. Give my boy FV215b some love, it deserves better.
i have this thing in wot blitz and i love it. it also has the best heavy tank gun on a bad platform, but it moves at 40km/h (45km/h if u activate a speed boost consumable) and it has 187mm of HE pen instead of 120mm like on PC. super underrated tank
max, how important is bond equipment, I've bought enough premiums with bonds so that I'm always good for credits and am now just trying to enjoy my bonds, I already have the 121b but I'm not sure if I should spend my bonds on fun tanks like this or if I should spend them on good equipment to make my favorite tanks slightly better.
If you have bounty and don't mind demounting to move it around, then there is no real need for bond equipment. There are only really certain tanks that benefit massively from bond over bounty, EBRs for example.
It's a good tank, and it was released back then, when tanks/tech trees were actually unique. It was a heavy with the best gun handling (even better than t110e5). But soon enough, the hull down era began with introduction of sconq, which is kinda balanced, but not really, especially with equipment 2.0. The best buff for fv, is increasing the fuel tank health and adding 8 more shell to the total capacity
The other big problem with the turret, where it is worse than the Conq, the commander view ports/range finder on the roof is counted as damage model not spaced armour.
The gun points at the center of the screen and will aim at obstructions to that by elevating the gun. It’s annoying. You can get around it somewhat using turret lock (default right click and hold) to keep your gun in place as you maneuver around obstructions but that just adds more to the workload. There might be a mod for it but I don’t know.
Hello ! I took it for 12,000 bonds winrate is now 33% armor is complete paper in battle this thing just doesn't work it keeps burning and me as a free2 play wg ammo won't even penetrate tier 8 tanks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this tank complete garbage.
I have Hardening in the slot, Bond Config and a rammer in a damage slot, and I just kinda... cower behind everyone else and take pot shots when I can. This was my first Bonds Purchase back in .... idk. Kinda regret it cause It's stupidly hard to play well with it. Love the gun, hate the fuel tanks... and the fact you can't reliably side scrape
I've been saying for years that maps are this game's biggest problem. Not chief, not 279, not the arties that I truly hate but all these bad, boring 2 corridor maps
i believe config is better than experimental one cause the experimental one doesnt say it prevents a fire, ammo rack or engine destruction, which is kinda a red flag.
Would Coated Optics and a good cammo-crew be a viable option? Given the view range, could it be a decent sniper? Also, the only reason I bought it was because I thought it was pretty. :D
It was a really good tank back in the days long before the SConq. - but it was already starting to get out of meta and was lit on fire far too much. The model of the tank needs a lot of rework to make any sense in the current WoT environment. But as it is only a collectors type of tanks anyway, I think it will not see any love in the future... It will stay in my heart, but it is only a memory for me (as I stopped playing this game a long time ago, despite being in the ~top 5% of players).

Back in the day this used to be one of the best tanks for Clan Wars. T110E5 stand no chance 1v1 with this thing. It was a beast back then
even now any tank forced into a 1v1 with fv215b would still likely lose, busted dpm + turn speed is no joke

The only reason I watch Max is to listen to him exclaim "APPLY!" No other reason.

I got this tank when it was in the line. Then they gave me a Super Conq as it was the new tier 10 but let me keep the FV. Win win. I love it.

No, this should not be played as a sniper or a spotter. Maybe on prok you could drop the turbo and go for optics and sit middle.
