I LOVE HOW THEY ALWAYS TREAT THE ANIMATRONICS AS CAST MEMBERS!!! even in a compilation of interviews and funny behind the scenes moments, Adam calls the snake "Sandy" and says " she is another cast member, we treat her with respect"

The performers in this show have a spectacular time doing it. Especially Alex Brightman, who has maybe missed three performances total of all of the shows they've done since the pre-Broadway run last year. I am sorry to say that I think Sophia is starting to suffer major vocal strain, though. But it is getting to be the time where some parts will be given to new actors. I saw the new Adam not long after he began, and he does an excellent job. I also saw Dana Steingold (the girl scout) as Lydia in the show I went to, and she did a great job too.
I find it really funny that Winona Ryder starred in two movies that came out barely 2 years apart from each other that are now popular musicals. Next musical will be Edward scissorhands
i love that Alex also acknowledges the “this guy knows what im talking about” in every curtain call 😊 tho this one’s hilarious 😂 not sure what actually happened but im guessing that person has already turned his/her back from the stage 😂😂😂
This happens at every live show. They're gesturing to the pit. The band. And when they gesture behind themselves, they're acknowledging the non-cast crew
for the people who dont know, alex was pointing at a person in the audience because he said a line throughout the show (at least when i saw it) and that was this guy knows what im talking about. he said it three times after a line like, im so alone and sad, and he pointed at the guy and waved to him during my show also. i love alex so much and he made the show so much funnier!
Curtain calls are so magical! I've only received such thunderous applause one time on stage, but the feeling is indescribable. I'm so glad they get (or got 😭) to enjoy it every night!
It will probably take a while. The backstage mechanics are so intricate and everything need to be so meticulously calculated, it will be kinda hard to run around the country.
My acting school is doing beetlejuice as a performance and auditions are tommorow . Honestly its really scary but for me looking at sophia perform just motivates me to be the best lydia I can and if I do get the role I'm so glad I will have such a great actress to look to for inspiration on mannerisms and facial expressions.
