I enjoyed this 360 video a lot. Very reflective, I agree. I too have been with my husband for about 14 years and the love is still there. I think the love in the beginning is too intoxicating and very insecure, especially because we started together so young with that burning love you're talking about. However, as years passed on we have settled into a more solid form of love. The kind where it feels good to be around eachother's company without being overwhelming. I find clinginess unattractive as well and it's something as one gets older becomes more averse to.
I cant imagine going out with kids under 10 to a restaurant without it being a headache, but I'm sure as they get older it will be easier and less so. There's nothing wrong with enjoying your birthday with your favorite pizza. In fact, I think eating in is just as a good time with family as it is to go out, it's savoring the moments together with your family that is most enjoyable. I think it's cool you've made some new PRs in the gym and hearing upon such is inspiring to me to hear.
I also wanted to add that
Gigi Cee's comment was incredibly insightful and I'd love to see your response to that.
Thank you for sharing, Victor. Happy Bday!

Happy Birthday to ya V!!! And yes sometimes love can be like a drug and people crave and need that "fix" and that pursuit can freak the other person out. When we are younger we don't know how to control those feelings and we basically fall into the fire of love. As we get older we realize those early feelings can be bad, like any drug. Keep up the gains man!

It's funny that you'd mention how this Kikki has issues with getting too much attention for their comments, because it puts pressure on them, while following up with the topic "you can love too much", because I feel like you can draw a connection between these two things.
I think we can observe that, specially people who are uncertain about their own value, are likely to contemplate whether they "deserve" this (much) love - potentially feeling a pressure to "reply" to it, which in turn would mean they accept they are in fact "deserving of that love", if that makes sense.
This is not from personal experience, but I think I've seen a fair share of relationships break, because of a seemingly love-asymmetry, which in actuality wasn't the kind of asymmetry that one might believe.
"One loved the other more than the other" would be false, I think often times it's "one loves the *other one* more than the *other one* loves themselves".
Which, to close the circle, would also be seen with Kikki. Feel a pressure to comment to the liking of Viktor, even though just being themselves is all it needs.
Although, small disclaimer. There probably are people who are obsessed & conflate it with love lol I don't think that applies here though.
PS: I really enjoyed that you took us with you to the subway/train station(?). Always fascinated by the public transport system of Japan.
I wonder if Japanese people are like us Germans, though. We always get to hear tourists saying our public transportation system is great, when all we know for it is to complain lol
PPS: Unfortunately, once the machine is triggered, I just can't stop thinking. I guess there is an argument to be made that when you love someone else too much, you might love yourself too little too, compensating it by obsess-loving someone else. But that's basically what I said, with just one thing in reverse. Same outcome, same logic.

First relationship? Of course you would be clingy. Its only natural since you get the first time love connection does something to the brain. All those chemicals are released much more heavily in the first love than others.

Hi Victor. I know you've seen my previous comment on one of your videos before.
I just want to say your laundry videos feel comforting, it's like I'm back at home where I was first introduced to Jvloggers (Texan, EricSurf6, TkyoSam, RhymingGaijin, etc). Brings me back to my college days where I watched a lot of "Japanese for morons" (Douiu ongaku ga suki desu ka),
Sounds cheesy but I just want to say, thank you for all the work you've done for all these years. It brought a great impact on my life.
Have a nice day. Take care.

I think the 360 camera quality goes way down when you do a night video with low light. But overall I really do prefer these 360 vids where we can control the viewing angle and the quality was great for a good chunk of the video where the streets light and store lights were really bright Oh and Happy Birthday! It might actually be happy late birthday now but it's still September 11th for a few more hours where I live.

Same here, loving too much nukes a relationship. However, in my opinion that mistake could even be a revelation to test if that “previous significant other” was truly devoted to you.

    Hi

  • @SIG442
    @SIG442 3 года назад

I been only disappointed at my birthdays, never really a positive side to it. So I decided when I turned 23 to never have a birthday again. Not celebrating it or thinking about it that is. I got enough things to do anyways. Turning 39 soon and still have no regrets. Can't miss what you never really had in the first place. Asides from that you won't have to ask people to come to your birthday and end up with them leaving you hanging. Or when they do arrive that they make a mess and then leave. I never am bothered by gifts, if someone really wanted to make my day they could just show up, not make a mess and just spend a hour or so with me. Not asking for the world or expecting much.
Relationships are a difficult thing for sure, I had so far only bad experiences. With modern day western politics (extreme leftist thing) it makes things a lot more complicated and unlikely to find that special lady. I decided to just go with the flow and do what I can to just suit myself, if there is a woman on my path in the future I'd consider it a bonus
