wow!!! I was searching for a perfect boat and that is it! well, it would be 100% perfect with two side doors. But......I saw a lot of boat reviews and this one is best review i seen on best boat! so double success Thank you
G'day Marijan, yes I can see value in a second cockpit door however the layout with those big openning aft doors plus stb access made the boat very sociable on anchor. Happy to hear you enjoyed the review!
Super review Dan! I loved hearing about this wonderful craft that is quite different from the Italianate styled competition. Kudos for showing (in an approximate way) how it would get used in various comparible waters around the world. To me this shows the demand for boats to suit colder maritime climes such as southern NZ, UK, NW US and Ireland can be met by this sort of boat.
Thanks for the kind feedback Jonathan! Heaps of work goes into creating these so I apprectae that. I'm on a mission to show boat's in their natural environmant and not at boat shows.
Must be a bit of a mental jog, Dan, to watch this video today while enjoying the arrival of summer back in Oz! Gorgeous boat, of course, and very sea kindly. Alas, not for those of us who are mere financial mortals...
Hi Jack, unfortunately no summer down here yet. We are in our 3rd La Nina in a row meaning flooding rains and colder temps so a cabin style Duchy 35 would be perfect for the current weather we are getting down here!
My old Westerly sail boat had twin steel keels with flat bottoms and a reenforced steel rudder. The boat was designed to sit down at extreme low tide with stability rather than need extra struts to stay upright. That feature saved my old girl more than once during powerful nor’easters on the Atlantic seaboard. Other sailboats would lay over their finger docks when the offshore winds sucked all of the water out of the harbor, but the little Westerly would be standing tall without a piling punching a hole through her.
No worries Antonio, follow the link in the description to the Aussie dealer page if you're Downunder or the factory page if you're from overseas. They are built in the U.K and we are filming this video in Falmouth, U.K. Pricing varies depending on what you choose but expect $1M AUD +/-
Quite possibly my favorite brand! Once you buy a Duchy, you keep it for life, i could even see myself living on one!❤❤❤
My dream boat.
She's a beauty!

What a stunning boat. Great review Dan.
I just feel lucky to have had the opportunity. Thanks for the feedback

A valid point for UK waters. Those tides I saw were massive!
Perfect boat for St Mawes. With the yard around the corner, service quality should be good too
Definitely!
Lovely boat but personally I'd go for the galley-aft Dale 37 Classic. Bluffer lines and a more practical layout.
Love seeing you enjoying UK waters.
Thanks Andy, I had a great time!
To top it off it's British.... well done Duchy boats ❤
This is a seriously good boat. I’m pretty keen to see the new 45 they have recently announced. She looks pretty sexy
Beatifull boat. as shown, how much is she? Personally I’d prefer less wood and more synthteak due to upkeep. What was the music on outro ?
Hi Erik, i've put links in the description for you to ask the dealers. I can't remember the tune in the outro but I use Artlist FYI. Hope that helps
I checked. 437.5k pounds in the UK before taxes. I might buy one, or not!!
@@johnshaw8327 That price is for a model with less exterior wood and more fiberglass. The one in this video would be closer to £800k.
Hello! Thank you for showing us your work ! Where is this boat or similar. How Much?

Such a beautiful boat. I'd have two side doors...
She's a stunner
Quality!❤
Never get a boat with external wood if you want to keep your sanity.
In Australia - yes
If you can afford Duchy prices, getting someone else to take care of woodwork should not be an inhibitor
What size Gyro does this magfuckingnificint boat have?
She comes with a Seakeeper 3.
