Hello you both! I lived and worked in Dubai for 4 years (as a teacher) and I also quit and left in July 2021. I miss the lifestyle and weather but it was the best decision for my mental health :-)
I would like to spend a word in favor of the elder flight attendants I first met on American flights, I really loved it! They were kind, prepared, almost motherly caring and with a valuable experience in rough situations. All precious things that make an older attendant an asset, not a liability!
You guys will look back and be grateful that you listened to your hearts/guts to quit. So many times we never listen and just end up in terrible situations especially health-wise. All the best.
I don't know but I had tears in my eyes when Stefano was locking the apartment door. Life is only about endings and new beginnings, I hope the new beginning brings you nothing but success and happiness 🌸
They blame the lack of sleep and they go out on their lay overs to film and listen to your body bs.😂🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻.and they moved to Mexico to spend their life there because they realize they liked it there, I mean no judge but with no plan just to move there.people do anything for their five minutes fame. Good luck with new video we come back…..😎😩
While moving out of Dubai we had the same process. We had to sell all our thing's which was kinda hard because we've been living there for years. We've to leave our friends behind just for a new and a better job. Good luck to you guys ✨
you guys are so much fun to watch! You only live once and getting out of your comfort zone to make a change for the better is the biggest step. All the best to you on your new journey!
My dear brother Stefano, I still remember the crazy Cairo we operated together in September 2019 after my Osaka was canceled and the fun we had despite of everything 😂 I also remember the nice conversation I had by the pool in Bangkok with you Natalia a very long time ago, trust me guys, there’s an entire world outside of Emirates life and you’ll realize it soon. Even though it was a hard life, I’m glad I had the chance to meet so many nice people like you and if you ever get the chance to visit Sicily please let me know. Good luck for everything guys, you deserve the best. 🇮🇹✈️❤️🇸🇪
I can relate to all those packings and stuff... lived in Dubai for 4 years and i could not imagine how stressful it was gathering what needs to go and what needs to go with me. As i was watching your video i felt the sadness since Dubai left an amazing place in my heart and i am sure in yours too. Have a good journey ahead and it is not the end but it's only the beginning to a new start.
I could also feel the emotions you guys captured so well here, being an expat in Dubai for just over 5 years - the thoughts of what next is definitely scary! Wishing you both an amazing start to your journey and hope to see you both in Mexico!

All the best for you guys! I’m feeling the same emotions, I’ve quit my job as a Flight Attendant in Italy and now I’m moving to zanzibar.. good luck for your new adventure! 😊
The emotions both of you went through leaving your office and your apartment for the last time forever... It brings back memories. Memories of the time I was living in Bahrain and had to leave it... Leaving the apartment was the hardest part for me.
Congrats on the big decision! Having done my share of the packing and leaving, I can feel your mixed emotions! I bet editing this video helped create closure, too. Here's to the new and exciting adventure ahead! Jarin
You have each other to make transition easier. The moving to whole new world is much harder mentally and physically. Having someone makes it a little easier. Much success
This was so bittersweet. I used to be a ticket agent at JFK Airport for Air France 2000 - 2001 (I had to work the day the Concorde crashed), and for American 2001 - 2008 (I was with them when September 11th occurred and when AA587 incident occured). I guess bad luck really followed me around. I wanted to call it quits after that but a coworker talked me out of it. The following 7 years I scratched my itch for travel THOROUGHLY. But eventually I just walked away and never looked back. I basically got burned out and the pay sucked. I'm now retired at 62 and I do not miss the workforce. But the travel itch is (slowly) returning. I am anxious to see more of your new life in Puerto Vallarta. It's on my travel wish list of places I've never been to. Your videos of PV from 2021 really sparked my interest in going there so I will probably go in 2023 with friends who have already been there several times. Puerto Vallarta seems like a vibrant spot without all the hustle and bustle of Mexico City, plus it's on the ocean. I've watched many videos of PV and the scenery is absolutely spectacular, especially the sunsets. And the cost of living is affordable unlike here in the USA. I am so happy for you both in making this drastic change in lifestyle!!! You are good people and I am sure GOD will bless it abundantly. Much success in the future. 😎😎😎
This video did something to me. I cried because it was exactly everything I went through leaving the Dubai finally the morning of Christmas. From the packing, emptying the apartment where I had so many momories, every tiny detail was just like mine. Wow. Life
I loved everything about this video. Thank you for taking us along the journey. All your reasons to quit are valid and I'm proud of you for taking the bold step and doing it. All the best in your future endeavours.
watching this almost made me cry. When i got redundant, i was super ok and peaceful, but the very last day when i had to drop my apartment keys and head to the airport, i cried so much , and during the flight as well. I did not had the best experience in Dubai but i had amazing opportunities which i wasn't able to enjoy because of mental health issues. Anyways, it was a beautiful and challenging chapter. Good luck on your new chapter as well.
Hi guys, As a frequent flyer with EK I want to take a moment to thank you for your service. I have flown 28 flights so far with EK. And never had a bad experience. No matter if it was upper deck or main deck. The thing is, not many understand what it means to be a cabin crew. It's just serving coffee & tea and look pretty, right? Far from it. And I am fully aware of this as I also actually work with EK at my airport. Make no mistake, I do pay for my tickets though :) It should however not matter if I work with the company or not. I always treat cabin crew with the respect they deserve. So again, thank you for putting up with all those pax who think they own the airline just because they fly upper deck. Wish you both good luck on your new endeavors.
I felt the last part of saying good bye to the house for the very last time. Its true that home is where the heart is, and leaving your heart and moving apart is such a big decision. All the best
Having worked for a big corporation for 11 years in the airplane industry, I can completely understand how you can put forward the best face about the company. They give you great benefits and money. The problem is, you almost sell your sole to the devil and when the company asks you to do something, you jump. It’s a complete horrible toll on your mental and physical well being and I didn’t realize it until too late. Glad to see you guys are making the best decision and listening to your bodies!
Hi, I feel so touched by this video. First thing, it is so good to see you two at same pace and take the step together. Second thing is i also want to make that change in my life, i've been thinking it for sometime, but i am alone and have nobody to discuss and plan for it together, don't know where to go yet, also i am so weak to accomplish it at this time by myself. I think i got pushed by your video also to work on the plan. Thank you. And wish you a good start in the new city. 🤞🤞
Thank you Cecilia for the comment! And we are really happy to see that this video of us quitting the job gave you an extra push to move forward with your goals and dreams 💭 💫 Hopefully just what you needed to plane and make the first step! If you follow your heart and gut feeling, the first step is all you need, because all the rest will come along the way 🙌🏼 We wish the best in everything ! 🥰
I work as airport security for 5 years and I wake up at 3am very often so I cannot even imagine having to deal with different time zones and traveling back and forth, totally understand your reasons to leave. Wish you all the best!
You guys brought back memories of nine and a half years, going back and forth to the HQ. Seeing you packing and the mixed emotions showing on your faces, I had them when I was doing the same 2 years ago. The circumstances that made me leave were different than yours, because you took the decision and I was made redundant. I hope you find your new path if you didn't plan it already, and wish you the best of luck. PS: you might be missing dubai and the cabin crew life, but focus on your new goals.
Guys this is so exciting! I can’t even imagine how you both must have felt, nervous yet excited!? I can’t wait to follow your next chapter! All the best! Xx
It's a crazy world that some people want to resign a dream job, but some wants to get hired somehow and have been trying for several days, weeks, months and years looking for a job. 🤷
Having been flying for. 27 years for a major US carrier I understand your move. Waking up at 1 am is so hard on your body and soul. I’m back to flying domestic and having a real life and loving it. I miss my layovers and crew but not enough to go back to flying international. Good luck to you both.
With enough Seniority you can probably bid a good route that can get you back to your Crew Domicile the same day! So when your Spouse asks you to pick up some milk at Kroger's you can totally do it!
Stepping out into the unknown can give anyone butterflies in the tummy …. Your advantage is in having each other. Everything (including costs and disappointments) gets halved. And two hands searching for a handhold, each. It may not be everything you wished for, but you could end up quite happy. Good luck!
Im also a cabin crew incharge with a certain airline, started my career in 2013 looking at u guys it feels great as you are able to take such a strong decision and moving to another place altogether...im so happy for you guys good luck🥰🥰
Wish you guys the best with your future ventures.....more proud of you for taking accountability of your dreams, projects and living your lives. That's what life is about. Taking, giving and living.
The same feeling when I left Dubai. It was my 2nd home country for 10 years. I quit my job and follow my dreams. Now I am happy living in Paris. Goodluck. ❤️
I just got to see your video and it’s beautiful to see that you both are doing this together with so much support of each other and look into the future for a new beginning how wonderful
Hi! So lucky to bump into this video! I am so afraid to leave my comfort zone here in the desert, doubting myself and the situation. Your energy levels and fighting spirit are so high which made me feel that i am ready to pack my bag as well! All the best to you guys! Thank you 😊
Nathalie you are one of the most beautiful cabin crew ever. Stefano you are so good looking. I wish you both the best of future. You could both do modelling on the side possibly as a part time gig. Sending lots of positive light your way !❤❤
Guys, wishing you both the very best in your next phase of life! Great bold move, but you made the correct decision for yourselves and your health. Bon Voyage and Godspeed!
That 'mix of emotions' always leads to an exciting future. Just face it - we all have to go through it, but make it worth it at the end. Good luck with your future adventures!
I really enjoyed watching this video, again it’s not easy to leave all this behind, but I am sure in years ahead when you look back you will know that you made the right decision. Keep up the good work, and can’t wait for your next video in 🇲🇽.
I resigned in Jan 2022 and just can’t relate more to every single thing you’ve shared in the video, guys. I also felt emotional and excited while packing up and finishing the whole process, every place in the video felt so nostalgic, thank you for this, it brought me back all the memories.. Emirates ❤
I bet it felt very nostalgic to watch the video for you too 🥹 it is intense when I watch it back also haha it has been beautiful share this whole process and have it here to look at 🙌🏼 Thank you for the comment and presence here ✨
This reminds me of my last days with Qatar airways as cabin crew.At that moment I was so eager and nervous to pack all my stuff and return back to Sri lanka but now when remembering about it ,it's a bit emotional. I had a lot of stuff to pack and thanks to my two flatmates who made that process easier. One was from Philippines and the other was from Bangladesh .Living with two other fellow Asians made my life easier because we Asians have a lot in common to share .
Can I talk to you?cuz I wanted to become a cabin crew in Qatar Airways and it would be so helpful if you could tell your experience on working in Qatar airways.
@@itsmeanjuz1043 Hi.well its actually nothing big though it seems like that. Just do your homework and prep work. Everything you need to know is in their web page .Don't panic or overthink ,just be simple and smart . Make sure you are prepared before applying and don't have any regrets . Take one step at a time and do not be nervous. Try to look like a Cabin crew on the interview day but don't over do anything. Hope this helps u. FYI: Qatar airways has very strict rules and regulations for their Cabin crew. If possible try to apply for Saudi Airlines or Etihad airways because I found Saudi airlines interview much easier comparison to QA.

Thank you very much Ikram! We really appreciate your kind words and we feel really connected to all of you that felt the same emotions with us 💛🙌🏼
They make a ton of videos romanticizing their lifestyle and now drop the bomb that they didn't actually like their employer and lifestyle. smh.
Why you should never believe anything you see on the Internet
They have been saying since the first videos that they want to leave, they wanna do less hours. If u came and only saw 2 videos, that’s on u.
Exactly!
Losers and liars
Thank you so much Justin!!! Absolutely, if you're ever in Mexico let us know 😍🙌🏼

Dubai starts to suck real fast, after like 6 months.
Expat? Why can’t you say immigrant? Dubai is a soulless petrodollar vanity project.
Oh its the ultimate cabin crew dream. Cute guy meets the most stunning girl and makes a life outside of the airline. Well done much love xx
All the best for you guys! I’m feeling the same emotions, I’ve quit my job as a Flight Attendant in Italy and now I’m moving to zanzibar.. good luck for your new adventure! 😊
Good luck for you... And welcome to Zanzibar 😁
Welcome to zanzibar we are waiting for u here ull have so much fun 🧡🧡
your outfit at 11:45 Nathalie is sooo simple yet sophisticated !!!! love it so so much!
This video was full of feelings. Best of your luck for your new beginnings!

Can i get apartment in dubau for 1000ADH for a month only? A good one
Be careful there. The US put a warning about that area on the gov't website. Just watch your back.
Any place is beautiful when you are on vacation.....you see the cracks once you live there long term.
This video did something to me. I cried because it was exactly everything I went through leaving the Dubai finally the morning of Christmas. From the packing, emptying the apartment where I had so many momories, every tiny detail was just like mine. Wow. Life
So proud of u guys! I also left let’s say a corporate job. Best decision ever. Now I control my life. It’s harder but I love it. I’m in controll
Thank you!! That´s amazing, well done 💪❤️
I loved everything about this video. Thank you for taking us along the journey. All your reasons to quit are valid and I'm proud of you for taking the bold step and doing it. All the best in your future endeavours.
Thank you so much Mercy ❤️❤️❤️
watching this almost made me cry.
I was very glad to flown with you guys , I work as captain :)
Flight attendants, prepare for take-off please. 🌏😄
Don't EVER sell your soul.
Loved this. It's hard but change is how you grow.
I'm so happy for you! Let the new adventures begin!!!
Thank you so much ❤️!! Yesss we're just beginning
Thank you for share another perspective of life to enjoy what we have been given, good luck
If you follow your heart and gut feeling, the first step is all you need, because all the rest will come along the way 🙌🏼
We wish the best in everything ! 🥰
Dont get too caught up in what is behind you. Focus on a glorious future😍🎉
I work as airport security for 5 years and I wake up at 3am very often so I cannot even imagine having to deal with different time zones and traveling back and forth, totally understand your reasons to leave. Wish you all the best!
Thanks!
Brilliant video, felt the emotions you were going through, can’t wait to see how Mexico is working for you guys ❤️
Thanks Aklak ! We can’t wait to show how everything will go 🥳♾
Can't wait to see where your adventures take you!
PS: you might be missing dubai and the cabin crew life, but focus on your new goals.
what does "made redundant" mean in airline terms?
@@rgfan12345 it's not actually an airline jargon, but it is said when someone is dismissed from their job by their employer.
I wish you good luck with finding a job you like. Remember that everyone's situation is different. There's no one "dream job" that suits everyone.
You have each other, that's all that matters.. Best of luck in your new venture 🍀
Aweeeee, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Good luck In everything. Take care both of you.
Wish you guys the best with your future ventures.....more proud of you for taking accountability of your dreams, projects and living your lives. That's what life is about. Taking, giving and living.
I only found your channel yesterday and i love you guys already! I actually cried watching you leave your apartment
The same feeling when I left Dubai. It was my 2nd home country for 10 years. I quit my job and follow my dreams. Now I am happy living in Paris. Goodluck. ❤️
I've been through the same with Etihad. Good memories. Wish you the best for your future!
I just got to see your video and it’s beautiful to see that you both are doing this together with so much support of each other and look into the future for a new beginning how wonderful
Do what makes you happy, good luck, Mark.
Thank you Mark!
It’s the different time zones that takes a toll on your body as cabin crew.
Good luck , great to see two people with a plan and the guts to carry it out.
Hi! So lucky to bump into this video! I am so afraid to leave my comfort zone here in the desert, doubting myself and the situation. Your energy levels and fighting spirit are so high which made me feel that i am ready to pack my bag as well! All the best to you guys! Thank you 😊
Hi 👋🏼!! Oh that’s so nice to read ❤️! We wish you all the best and are so happy if we in anyway could influence you to something better 🙏🏼
All the best with your future endeavours.
@@rebeccasayuri8410 thankyou so much❤️

wow shame as I enjoyed the emirates videos but looking forward to seeing what you do next!
Ohh! But we will still post more about Emirates and Dubai, and of course also many more adventures that are coming 😍🙌🏼!!
Even though people criticize the USA flight crew union, I am so happy to be a unionized flight attendant; union contracts protect our rights. Gulf carriers are good, but the working schedule can be crazy.
CAn i apply from far?? I live in congo
@@onelove718 Not really. You can apply for Middle Eastern carriers. They always look for foreign staff.

That was so emotional😢..be safe where ever you go👍🏻
The emotion captured when you guys entered HQ, and crew accommodations, I relived this through you again. I left on amazing terms after a wonderful flying experience. It comes with it’s pros and cons but overall I was quiet fortunate to enjoy my travels and life in the UAE. All the very best to you on your next endeavours and journey ❤️. I’m back home in San Diego, very close to Mexico 😂
You remind me of when i left England to go to Australia. By myself though, nowhere near as many suitcases, but the same amount of Excitement and apprehension all the same. The feeling is like nothing else. Hard to breathe on that long walk to the departure lounge as your family bids you farewell. Take care.

You did the best thing...nothing is as good as being in control of your life, time and everything about you. Before you get into you are afraid of what might happen but once you dive in, it becomes easy because you are doing what you want without being forced. Remember when you are employed, your everything is controlled because everything you do depends on your work schedule that's designed by someone for you not by you. Therefore, you may fear but you will be fine.

I’ll waiting for your video and I will beside you guys no matter where you’re
I predicted it like clock work. 5 to 7 yrs seems to be the limit for Cabin Crew. Are there any flight crew that have been there for more than 20 yrs, married and has kids???? In the USA it is more the standard than the exception. As a passenger I used to get FA'S with 30+ and they only did turns. Bless you on your next journey!!! One Love
