I have recently found out I have no follicles on my ovaries and I'm waiting for a gynaecology referral. I know theres a good chance I have POF. Too many things just make sense, I have all the side effects of early menopause and I'm 28 years old. I'm honestly terrified, all I want is to have kids with my husband and your channel has made me see that if I do have POF then it's still possible in a roundabout way. But I'm still scared. @@AmandaDawn87 I know it's been 4 months but I was diagnosed with POI officially. Me and my husband are looking into egg donation. I just want to thank you for making these videos, they helped me understand before I truly knew my diagnosis. It's made me realise I can still have the family I've dreamed of. I just wish there was more out there about POI. Thanks again

I am currently getting the tests run for POF, I am 25 years old, but I have had the mirena IUD/ coil and I never had side effects with it. And was looking at getting again “after side effects” I experienced with the pill and now I am being tested for pof because my mom experienced it at the age of 38. I greatly appreciate your videos, I have been down in the dumps for a week since I talked to my ob/gyn ( the first one to listen to me about my fam. History and take it seriously) and it’s nice to see some hope and not feel alone.
Hi Amanda. I’ve been following your journey of POI and fertility. I’ve actually had my first donor egg transfer yesterday and your videos are my bible. The Kylena coil sounds like a very good idea for you. I work in sexual health. Please contact me if you have any issues getting the coil as there are few hoops to jump through sometimes. Xx

@@fulasinho3607 some types do but some don't. I no longer have periods with the IUD but it took 8 months for them to stop. Other forms of HRT may still give you a bleed.
I don't have POI, but i did have an ovary removed due to a cyst against my better judgement but was scared into thinking I had cancer. I'm 27 and struggling with symptoms of hormone depletion even though I was told this wouldn't happen. finally giving up and looking at what my other options are (Ive gone on to discover the cyst could have shrank) and its been a year since my surgery. Looking for any advice anyone can give me on moving forward with this..

Hi, I was diagnosed when I was aged 13. HRT (hormone replacement) protects your body as the natural hormones would. Hormones are produced in the ovaries but this stops after menopause, s HRT is important for those younger than typical menopause age and protects our bones, brain health and from certain cancers x

oh really? isn't it strange how pregnancy changes things. I will definatley do am update but my fitting isn't for another month x

hi I am now on estrogen gel and a udi for progesterone x

It maybe worth getting your hormone levels tested to see if you need HRT perhaps? so sorry you have had a bad time!
Ask a doctor to test your testosterone and ask if you can add it, helps a lot with energy levels.
