If you want to get the most out of your drills. 30 years experience has taught me these few few simple steps. 1) Buy quality drills 2) Use the correct drill(type) and select the right speed for each application. Smaller drills require faster speeds 3) Apply coolant/lubricant when drilling metals (expensive dont mean better) 4) Never let the drill get hot 5) If chips are not being extracted from your workpiece, Stop and see why it's not
Bought the 750x to keep the shockwave drill bits sharp, used it to sharpen all my old bits from another set and been sharpening other peoples bits at work and they tell me, and from my personal experience too, that once sharpened one the 750x they seem sharper that what they were from the factory. Can't see why people have trouble setting the bits up on the sharpener, all I did was read the instructions that came with the kit and followed them... seemed pretty straight forward to me
I have been sharping bits up to 1.5 inches freehand for 50 years. It takes practice for sure and some have a longer learning curve than others but I don't throw away a bit until it is too short to chuck up.
First off, I'm team TP. And I absolutely would not rush out to buy one just because of the Milwaukee name. The only Milwaukee tool I own is an M12 pipe cutter kit, and only because I got it for $10 at a yard sale.
I just got the drill doctor 750x and it definitely works, and the small bits works too from a total broken bit. That being said it doesn't sharpen it like it cuts when you get brand new bit, not at all. You break off or put a chip in a larger 3/4 bit and you will be sharpening all day long it feels like. For larger bits I can grind them on my grinder and put a sharper edge on them than the drill doctor. I wanted something that would sharpen it like brand new, don't know why these cant to it.
It walks because twisting the bit for sharpening is not ideal. Most bits have a straight line at the point and this machine can change that to a wavy line. Still a good option for some people and some bits could be different. Just a thought!
For a 3/8" bit I'd have the drill on slow and put my whole body weight into it. Use cutting oil if you have it. I've had a drill doctor 750 and it works well. Consistent speed of rotation is most important for best results.
Both, finish with baby wipes hope you are not flushing the wipes . Cost me $ 700 too get my septic line cleared and the tank cleaned . Have a baby genie by the toilet for the wipes now been using that for two years works great . No such thing as flushable wipes they will not break down and are plumbers worst nightmare.
@@WorkshopAddict while that might be true. I think most people would be concerned to find a red and black turd anywhere in there house. I know I would consult a doctor. No matter how good that turd was.
Hi, I’d buy Milwaukee in a heartbeat when I need the tools, it’s top of the line quality I’ve used Milwaukee hilti and Mikita in the seventies and eighties and nineties and all very quality tools and very dependable for me, I had no problem with the cost and the warranty is outstanding, just my opinion and experience,
weird, some of the ones I've used have a bit guide to set the drill depth for the cutter. These are ... kinda gimmik tools that will give you an okay sharpen if used perfectly. I've never seen one not sharpen the bit better. But, I almost wanna fathom that it didn't create a clean edge and it was over burred cause of how many spins you had to make to get the grind. I can hand sharpen drill bits far easier than that.
I'd be more impressed if you completed the drill hole. I've had a drill doctor for years and it's never been worth the time and space. I'd be very interested in a Milwaukee design sharpener
In fact, I will be more interested to know where I can get this knife set? The knife in the video is very sharp and easy to handle. The color is also my favorite one. Can anyone tell me where I can get it?
All my pocket knives get sharpened on my KME fixed angle knife sharpener and for bigger fixed blades and kitchen knives I use the Work Sharp Belt Sharpener… That was definitely cringey watching you try to sharpen the kitchen knife on that 😂… Oh and yes if Milwaukee made a M12 drill bit sharpener I would definitely want one 👍🏼…
Umm, the point is not the cutting edge of a bit. The corners are the cutting edge. If you've ever had a bit with a broken corner you'll know it because it doesn't go anywhere. Maybe retry your test after you've pre-drilled your metal. If you really wanna see how it does, take a hammer and try to chip the corner edge of the drill bit off. Also team tp
This is crap. No wonder Milwaukee (TTI) would never put its name on that! For the price of this gizmo I can buy several sets of brand new, sharp drill bits instead. Thanks for saving me time and money.

I used a bench gring for 25 years using a fine stone. I've even used a 4in grinder strapped to a bench when out on a job and that's all you have

Bro I have an old craftsman drill bit jig that is used in conjunction with a bench grinder. Picked it up at a yard sale best 5 bucks i ever spent.
Team bidet. Try it and you'll never look back.
Team TP. Considering jumping ship however due to the big H.
To me nothing beats bench grinder for sharpening bits.

Jimmy here. My mom got me really excited... What a letdown. Why are you calling my mother in the first place?!
Oh man, that could get dark quickly.
If Milwaukee sold a turd in a box, guys would line up to tell you it's the most powerful turd in the world.
On the other hand, Milwaukee would give it their all to be the best turd that turd could be.

A brushless turd...with One Key!
I'm sure the corn kernels would be top notch.
@@ucitymetalhead I just can't wait until VCG does a TTR with the Milwaukee Fuel Turd vs Dewalt Flexvolt Advantage XR POS.

Definitely team tp, wet wipes are a good closer though just gotta be sure not to flush em.

Amen bro.
I like the Drill Dr. But I feel like your's ground too much off the bit, mine only requires two or three spins around that eccentric cam thingamabob.
Secretly Team Baby Wipes…now what you need is the wipe warmer…that sh*t will change your life 😉
Nice video Bryan
I have six dull Milwaukee hole hawg kits anyone got a video hiw to sharpen them?
Add a pencil sharpener into it as well
good video Bryan
Drill Dr from Harbor freight. Cool huh.
They need to get on a m12 hot glue gun.
love the equipment
jimmy would turn red if he ever knew
Slightly better than nothing. Got it.
As long as I was clear. LOL
As I've always said, you wouldn't use toilet paper to get peanut butter out of a shag carpet.
Helpful video
Team Toilet Paper but I would be on Team Baby Wipes if I had a practical way to dispose of them, since they clog up pipes.
Edit: read about a baby genie, never heard of this. Very nice idea
But how do you dispose of all the baby wipes??? Please don't say they are flushable.
Team bidet all the way.
If you think about this topic too much it will screw you up for the rest of your life.

Too easy to guess what that silhouette was 😉
I am not a click bait kind of guy. I do believe I am spot on with my thoughts and this title. LOL.
