Understanding roles in #FM22 can be difficult, but in this Football Manager 2022 video, I breakdown how I created an OVERPOWERED Tactic that uses the role 'Regista'' in the hope it helps others understand what the role does in Football Manager 2022. Pretty please can you do a video on Trequerista? I've been trying to make one work in a 4-4-2 diamond in the Central Attacking Midfield position for ages, also I've been trying to use Inverted Wing Backs as the in-game description seems to suggest they stay wide in narrow systems like 4-4-2 diamonds where they only seek to get narrower and cut inside for shots on the goal when they actually have the ball as opposed to cutting inside to get onto the end of passes.

Regista is one of my favourite positions! I would love to see a series where you get the best out of positions like no nonsense CB, Raumdeuter, roaming playmaker etc
And also my favourite underrated role the Segundo Volante

I'm a bit late leaving a comment, but been using this tactic for a season and a half for my Sunderland save. In FM22 I've been using my own tactics throughout, but in this save it was getting a little stale (one too many tweaks and I lost my way) I did make one minor change to your set up, I had 2 AF and 1 F9 (with your player instructions) as it suited my players more.
What can I say, the previous season we finished 11th in the Prem, then after using this tactic we went on to win it, 8 points clear. I'm in 2033/34 season and have some great players and some regens that are ready for first team. I'm loving this set up, ironically I had players to suit all roles and it fit like a glove for my team. One thing I have noticed, and I don't know if this is to do with the tactic or my players, but the strikers seem to hit the ball with venom and keep blasting it into the back of the net.
I feel guilty for using someone else's tactic, but hey ho, the game's about having fun, and you learn from it too. Keep up the great work RDF

I have a formation using a Reg which plays the most beautiful football. Play with LB on IWB (s), 2 CD (d), RB as FB (s), Reg as DM, CMR as Mez (su), AMCL as AM (at), AML as winger (sup), central striker as AF and striker on right side as DLF (su). Works SO well!!!

@Brandon Mahon No problem. Team instructions - positive. in poss - wide, play out defence, shorter passing, higher tempo, run at defence, be more expressive. Transition - counter press, counter, slow down pace, distribute to fbs and cbs, take short kicks. out of poss - use offside, much higher engagement, higher defensive line, force opp outside, much higher trigger press, stay on feet

LB IWB (su) - balanced pressing, mark much tighter, tackle harder, shoot less often
RB FB (su) - balanced pressing, mark tighter, tackle harder, get forward more, stay wider, cross more often, dribble less, shoot less
CD's (de) - tackle harder
Reg - shoot less often, tackle harder
CMR Mez (su) - take more risks, cross more often, shoot less often, tackle harder
AMCL AM (at) - take more risks, cross more often, move into channels, tackle harder, mark tighter
AML wing (su) - get further forward, tackle harder, mark tighter
Central striker as AF - take more risks, roam from position
Striker on right side DLF (su) - stay wider, tackle harder, tight marking, mark specific player (either LB or LWB...you want right side if flipping obviously)

Where do you get all these Ns from in players names? Ansensio? And Toni name is pronounced Kros but the a longer O, not like spanish Cruz
I have tried many different tactics. I have to say this was the most successful for my Bayern team ✌️

have you already tried Zaz blue 4.0? with this tactic for half a season I scored 90 goals and won all the matches
@@zqvery9508 I meant one player as in one position. In the tactic you mentioned there are 2 strikers and 2 wingers and they probably split their output.

Does it matter what laptop you have if you want to include the Face pack, Name fixes and Badges packs in your save or does that just come down to the storage space on your laptop rather than the processing power of your laptop? I’m new to FM and looking to get a new laptop.

hello can you give me some advice please, i see my left cwb at is getting bad grades how can i change? can i change as full-back or fluidizing full-back? if i make this change will it ruin the tactic?
Can I change the pressing forwards for a false nine or deep lying forward on support? My team doesn't have players good enough for the pf on support
In lower leagues I assume you could use a DLP in place of Reg and WBs or FBs on A. Great breakdown yet again
I used a similar tactic with a DM support and got 5 straight promotions with Curzon Ashton. Playmakers tend to get countered after 5-50 games, you never know, all of a sudden the AI just decides to tightly man mark the playmaker in all games and unless he is world class your tactic gets "countered". A couple of positions never get man marked, mezzala is one of them.

These type of tactic tend tend create silly games, just had one vs Leeds where they won 3-0 with 3 shots on target, I had an XG of 5 hitting the target 23 times. Fortunately I am winning most of my games but the tendency is the same, all AI goalies are spidermen. I think in my first 30 games of the season 12 MoM awards went to their keepers.
Then I get this weird game where I win 10-0 and you don´t want that, it´s just the AI compensating.
It's sad that being successful is mostly centres around being ultra aggressive. I've been using a balanced 5-3-2, that regroup and counters with speed. Had plenty of success so far, even works on cautious

Forwards - have one goalscorer, and a creative forward. I've used DLF/TM, PF/Tree
Balanced mentality
In possession:
Work into box
Play for set pieces
Extremely high tempo
In transition:
Take short kicks
Distribute to CBs/FBs
Distribute quickly
Counter
Regroup
Out of possession:
Use either tighter marking or more urgent pressing
When on cautious, move line of engagement and defensive line to higher
