- It's the finale of the Sidchrome ’69 Mach 1 Mustang build! We started out with a typically ratty barn find special that had come straight out of a shed in San Francisco and onto a boat bound for Australia, where it would be transformed into a tough pro touring-style streeter.

You all have beautifully restored this car. The car is on the 1st place on my list and would love to have one. Mustangs are always the best.
Not digging the red at all. Huge respect for the work put in...but the red....not my thing.

Thanks for the video. I’m doing a 69 Fastback into a Mach 1 clone (doing a speed racer Mach 5 special in honor of my dad). The red seats and back upholstery is the interior color I’m aiming for. Was going with TMI but that may change. Want that color for my whole interior though. Gonna show the guy doing the body work as he’s gonna help with the interior work too. All these mustang guys sharing are making my job a lot easier. Much obliged,

The 69 mach 1 is my dream car but I want it in cherry red with black strips styled like this one with the small detailing and everything but my god I want a manual no automatic but still beautiful car I would still drive it just prefer manual

i see from the VIN plate,it's a real Mach 1.there are so many 'clone' mach 1's on YT.One small comment the grille badge is on the wrong side.

Yep. Not fan of the tyre lettering either. Easy enough to change those two things though.
It's a resto-mod, so it needs big wheels to clear the big brakes
Corey Bell yeah I understand they need to be a bit larger but not as big as they've gone, the wheels are miles bigger than what the brakes need to clear

I would have appreciated much more attention to the Suspension upgrades, as they are what these 50 year old chassis need.
Also, the wheels are hideous.
I prefer the original look tbh. The rear spoiler adjustment nuts are supposed to go on the inside of the supports...
