Nice vlog Tim, I walked to Chesterfield down trans Pennine trail last year to walk down side of canal and wondered what all the work was for and now I know. Cheers mate.
Thanks Paul. I used to cycle from Killamarsh to Chesterfield, but now take my car to Tapton lock and walk in. But have a great interest in this being finished.
Absolutely Tim. Not enough of the good stuff. I can't understand why people are upset by my video but three are. Its not my fault the bridge isn't in place,
At the end of Bell house Lane is where this phase of restoration ends……so there’s a few thousand of ton of clay to be moved towards the Puddlebank…..a new lock to be built just past the old railway line and a new bridge at the end of Bell house Lane for the farm access…The next stage will be interesting…..new aquaduct
I was at Hollingwood Hub last Friday on a first aid course but didn’t get time to get down to look at the restoration….the bridge has been confirmed to be lifted on Monday…..they actually sent a larger crane which damaged the hard standing….the workmen have been working to re enforce the hard standing ready for the lift….the bridge was delivered in 2 pieces and has been welded together and painted on site
I wasted a day off work (Renishaw Hall Gardens) to go watch that, but at least I took my cross stitch pic of my workplace, and scanner to listen to air traffic control to kill the time waiting.

Well presented postive report.
We need more local regeneration that helps .

Was hoping to see it up and you walking over it 😊
I have had three thumbs down, I was as upset it wasn't in position, but there was nothing I could do about it Richard.
@@timawells not having a go Tim and some people don’t understand the thumbs down concept or they are just nobs
@@everydaysabonus Do you think some think they are thumbing down for another reason Richard?
