This was a fun one. Cave Story is a really neat game and I love this song specifically, it sets the perfect mood for the undiscovered core room. Felt even better when returning here the second time, knowing you can rescue Curly.

Hey guys, the creator of the remix here. As the description says, I moved accounts to this one where I post a lot of new music. I don't check on my old work here that often but seeing this video pop up in so many related Cave Story music tracks is kind of surprising. almost 14,500 views? You guys rock! Thanks a lot.

When I first played this game, and curly died, and I had no choice to leave her, and when that door shut behind me, I felt sorrow. She was like, the perfect friend, one we've always tried to find in real life. It reminded me of the other casualties in the game, such as Toroko and King. I only wanted on thing at that point, and that was to destroy the doctor.
It was the exact same with me. Except one day I printed off the face/profile pictures for every character, (Don't ask me why,) and when I noticed the doactor's face was on the sheet, I cut it out, chewed it up for like five minutes, spat him onto the floor, stomped and jumped on him, and left him as what was now part of the floor.

I literally cried when it happened, had never been moved by a game like that before.
I may be late to the party, but you know you can save her, right? When professor Booster falls down the hole in the labyrinth, jump over the pit, and keep going. Once you get to the core, before you talk to curly, go to the far right, there will be a robot with the tow rope, get it, and you can save curly. Just one more thing; drain the water from her, but don't leave her in the hut, because you won't see her again if you do

The only way to get a dialogue box from him is if you’re playing Curly mode in cave story plus, where curly and quite swap places. If you do the third ending, when you feed him the mushroom he will say something, recalling his name is quote.

I'm pretty sure you can't go trough the blood-stained Sanctuary/Hell without picking her up, which means the island crashes and she dies anyway

Then, in the next section, there's a house/hut thing. Go inside and sleep. then check the bookshelves until you learn how to drain flooded robots. Then drain Curly, re-tie her to you, then keep going.
You'll get separated after the shark fight, but can reunite at the plantation. then go back to the graveyard, into that door you couldn't reach, and fight Ma Pigonia. Feed it to Curley, and carry on. After the undead Core, go into that little hut, and enter the Sacred Realm. Good luck!

Yeah, there's a tow rope in the room where you fight the core, but it won't show up if you get the booster. When you see prof. Booster fall down the hole, ignore him (he has a jetpack, he'll make it out later), use that little red mark on the ground to help you jump over the hole. Then, before you talk to Curley in the core chamber, go to the right and check the twinkly thing, you will get the tow rope. After the chamber floods, check Curly and tie her to your back. (CONT,)

Before talking to Curly in the boss room, go to the lower right, check the sparkles to get the tow rope. after flooding check Curly to bring her with you. In the next part, after the current maze with all the jellies, go in the little house/hut/shack, sleep, check the bookshelf and computer (Can't remember the order), upon seeing "Learned how to drain flooded robots," or something thereof, check Curly and drain, bring her with, meet in plantation. Feed mushroom (from cemetery). :D
