Finally ❤️🔥🔥 The OG death machine😂🔥 I wish the owner had not opted for the front fairing🤦🏻♂️ The kill switch is not original. It used to come with a round red-coloured sort of toggle switch.
Lots is not original on this bike most rds don’t have all og parts. But mine does.. even the key is og and it has a small plastic flap like compartment for papers under the seat. Also it still runs on points most are cdi now. And oh, it also has that fairing and i love it. Cheers!
Hello Faisal, Another well researched and well spoken review.👏 I would request you to revisit the RE continental gt 535 as I remember you already made a video on it some time ago and you weren't a big fan of RE motorcycles back then. I remember you saying that it doesn't give the confidence when leaning into turns and you couldn't go full on with the bike due to its vibrations. As a gt 535 owner myself I'd love to see you have another go at it in this revisiting series.🤝
Finally the bike video is here, thank you but one thing please I need a bike 100% Indian hand made, i can go and search but I more trust your opinion, I dead serious I want to buy and ride an Indian bike in the city of Riyadh
The engine sound is really something, but apart from that, practically speaking, can it really match today's bikes in terms of performance? I don't think so. Can it match a Duke 390? Or even a Ninja 300? Nope. Would I buy one if I could? Maybe, for its performance and sound. 100 kph in 7-8 sec is really quick, no doubt. But fanboys who claim this thing can make even todays bikes eat dust are mistaken. Technology is not moving backwards.
Greetings! Respectfully, I bought a 1989 variant fully restored with an imported genuine Yamaha front disc brake set-up, two days ago, for Rupees 4,75,000/-. I waited all my life to own one, so I didn't compromise.
Btw you rode it like modern bike (revving to the red line thinking ignition and fueling might cut off), might be looking for quick shifter 😅 poor owner might’ve cursed you properly, I had few of them when we didn’t had big bikes easily available in India
Man you are killing that bike 🤣🤣 And you cant shift or it cant shift. Not the quickest or best looking RD by far. This does not do justice to what an RD rides like, sounds like, looks like or its mental performance, smooth and high revving nature, huge power wheelies, etc. I suggest you find a better RD350 to ride.
The gearbox, and clutch on two strokes is completely different, to squeeze and maintain the powerband your hand, foot and wrist has to be in complete synch, and you are not.. BTW for early model 1973 350A came with drum front and back, they were big and very capable, still used in vintage racing and used in racing back then.. you don't need ABS, you just need to spend some time with the crazy two stroke
The Widow maker! My dad used to own 1984 yamaha rd350. The only thing he hated was the brakes. Then he bought RX100, he says RX100 is way better which is still functional!

Special thanks to instagram.com/2_strokemafia/ for lending me his RD 350 😀
Hope he regrets after seein this video
It's Vibration may your short licking ?
No one is willing to sell it at 2 lakhs ....we can get a scrap condition bike..A bike with all papers starts at 2.8 lakhs and goes up to infinity
The amount of pickup & torque 2 stroke engine had is unmatched.
Those 2 stroke vehicles can even pull with 4-5 ppl swiftly onboard.
It pulls 200 ppl. Provided all are marwadi jains.

That hand of RPM meter is much quicker than most of the analogue meters of bikes available nowadays.
Bike condition is next level👌👌💥
Wow, was wondering when would you cover RD.. Exhaust note is simply amazing, truly legendary bike! Next Jawa / Yezdi (2 strokes) series of bikes ?
Feeling proud still owning a 3 letter number plate, I own a rd350 ht from 1983
I also own a us spec rd350 which produces 39hp
Yamaha should come up with the old Retro Models, RX and RD series
Now, the high torque model is priced between 6lacks-9lacks
Those days I was hero of the town because I had this bike. Later on it goes to scrap because of spare parts still I miss CD ❤
