I own a GTV 2000. ‘74. Exciting car. I upgraded (still substantially stock) to approximately 170-180 hp. More fun than I can describe. Love to see folks with passion for cars.
Nice story. I follow Kayla on IG too and lover her little car. Mine is a 1972 model and it too enjoys the corners and winding roads. There is a strong Alfa community here in Australia too.
This brings back many memories of my 67 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior I bought brand new when I was in Germany in the Army. Loved that little car, wish I still had it.
Absolutely gorgeous car! My brother has 1972 2000GTV (basically the same Bertone coupe body as this). It is absolutely gorgeous car and really fun to drive.
I have an earlier '65 Sprint GT, a '69 GTV and a proper full tube chassis Racing GTV that I want to race at Monterey Historics some day. They are more then cars but a life style.
Except for a few changes I have the doppelganger to your car. Same paint scheme, but mine has a 3.0L Alfa motor. I'm sure yours turn heads wherever you go. Molto bello! Enjoy it and don't ever let it go.
Beautiful car Kayla but have you considered adding the two lower smaller GTA grill cut-outs to the front panel to further enhance the look? In my opinion a stepnose looks odd without them when you remove the bumpers. But each to their own! These 105 series cars are amazing. I am so grateful that I have enjoyed 35 years of 105 series motoring starting from my early twenties and still going strong. Great video looking forward to more! Stay safe!
Nice story, beautiful car. When Kayla drives away from the camera I would very much prefer to hear the sound of the Alfa, not overlaid music drowning out the Alfa's symphony.
Yeah I've had my share of Alfa's too. 2- 1978 Alfetta gt's. A 1978 Alfetta sport sedan, 2 Milano's, 3 GTV6's, 2 164's and 3 Spider Veloce's.. saving for a new Giulia, but saving my 86 spider. Something about an Alfa!!
Skip the self conscious stuff. You do not have to justify your decisions, knowledge, or lack thereof to anybody - be yourself. Enjoy that wicked little car.
Great video..lovely car..very pretty lady who owns it too...however...I did (subjectively) find it a bit annoying with “like” being said ALL the time...Sorry..I know...
@@HeritageGruppe She did very well for her first try. Let’s see more of her and her lovely little Alfa. Both gems. Thank you for replying..and please pass on that it is only meant as constructive in my previous comment. Best of success and have subscribed...Robert from UK
Great video..lovely car...however I did find this rather delightful looking owner rather annoyed my appreciation with “like” being said in virtually EVERY sentence...
I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead.
Ah man im sorry to hear that bud! Ive heard some mixed reviews from different owners some love them some hate them, but this particular GT has been doing great!
Sorry to hear about the accident and the stellantis experience... However, if you are going to buy other soul less brands such as the ones you mentioned you may as well but a Kia or Hyundai... Less issues with these cars.
Are you referring to a modern day Giulia or an original from the 60's/70's? Because that is a big difference. Alfa Romeo has a very up and down history. In the 60's and early 70's, they made some of the best cars out there like the one featured in this video. Thats why those models are so highly desired. Then they progressively went downhill in the 80's and 90's due to financial reasons. Audi, Mercedes and BMW all had good and bad decades as well. Perhaps less than Alfa, but people need to know what they are buying.
100% fake comment. You've been copying and pasting this around YT for days, never replying with details of when and where, or substantiating your claim. Plenty of actual issues with the Giulia documented on the forums, and most anecdotal experience is followed up with the owner saying dealership sorted it - why haven't you raised your experience with the name of the dealer and the data from the "someone from Bosch" there? Either you crashed your car and can't accept responsibility, or you never had a Giulia and just like trolling the brand in comment sections without mods...

Love your car, like your story! Well done Kayla. Awesome
Giulia coupe is always number one favorite for me🍀
Wonderful little car. Bravo!
Love this in depth on Kayla and her Alfa.
Thanks! :)

Agree, I did that to mine :-)
Tires play important role in cornering, Kudos to those YOKOHAMA ADVAN NEOVA AD08R tires!! ☺️👍

Thanks for the tip! Will be doing so in our future videos
Wonderful video!
Thank you 😊
I like your car and have been an Alfa Romeo since 1968. I have owned a total of eleven Alfas and had two 1750 GTVs but never owned a 1600 GTV.
So cool! Are you around Los Angeles?

Just ran Laguna. Do it!
Kayla must be the only person who has moved from Texas to California!

Awesome lady and car, but please, let's hear the car, not the music in future videos! Greetings from my own Australian '67 GT.
Thanks Sean! And we hear you loud and clear, tune in for our next video we’ll give you plenty of that from a 1953 LaGene 👍🏼
