Remember these guys new. Neighbor brought home a dark met blue Berlinetta. Would make a great daily driver. Cars sitting around without being driven does more harm than good. Plus if you know someone with R12 these older ac systems can freeze you out even in Ca summer temps

in the year 1997 i drove a 74 2002 that had ben fully restored in 87 i trade it for a Pioneer cassette deck i had bought two years earlier ,it was all original not a single piece was diferent from what they sold in 74 but as i like camping i found that german kids were always surrounding the car to ask me if it wa really a BMW as they had never seen one this happens a lot in two sumers i took it when going camping with my girlfriend at the time, i remenber in the 70´s was called the death car mainly because the roads were horrible in my country but in 97 roads were new and larger in mountain roads it felt like a real sport car it glued itself to the road and i had installed from a 73 2002 the shockabsorvents because it was a rally converted car and those were incredible good to stability and not that hard, the feeling of the wheels being over you seat position as it drives like a real sport car

My buddy in Grand Rapids, MI owned a teal 63. It was a 4 speed with a factory Paxton supercharger. I got to drive it once and found it to be smooth, responsive and quick steering. This was around 1966. It is interesting that I was drafted into the US Army alongside a guy named Roger E Ward. He was killed in Vietnam in 1968.

i dont know how many here has driven e30 with any r6 engine. but it messes up the whole car and it feels so front heavy. i would take m10 turbo over this anyday
