- This was a fun video to make!! :))
Apparently I missed a detail about the old Twilight cover: it's not just the Thunderclan camp, it's the badger fight! The badger is in the bottom right corner. So that makes a bit more sense, although I do wish that the cats were reacting to the badger as now they're just kind of chilling up there :^)
Also also, I hope I don't sound too angry in this video. It's not because of the covers, there just were a lot of disruptions when i recorded the audio hjgjhfj

I am in germany myself and i can admit, german covers are amazing. It does have the weird close up, but it also shows a scene under the face.

These look better than the original ones those ones looked like cats trying to take selfies where as yours are way better
All of the covers are beautiful! But I see one flaw- *in the book before sunset, the sun is to the side. The shading and lighting is behind the cats. Realistically, the shading and lighting will be more to the right of Leafpool and Crowfeather.* I just wanted to put that out there, but in all, all of the covers look amazing! I would DEFINITELY re-buy the New Prophecy books if these turned into the covers!
These are _awesome!_ Everything good that can be said about these has already been said before I even saw this video, honestly. The shot composition is great, especially for Moonrise and Dawn. I also love how you kept the times of day consistent with the titles for the images that were set outside. That was the thing the new covers got right with their design, and I'm glad to see it stay.
From a marketing standpoint, the only thing that I can find flaw with if these were to be the covers circulating on new copies of the books would be the one for Sunset. Yes, it sure _is_ badass and a good hook to get readers intrigued as to what happens in it- but in the US Warriors is usually placed in the children's section of most bookstores and libraries, and from what I can gather that's how it is in a lot of other places, too. A bloody paw with blood seeping into a lake and staining the grass usually doesn't fly in that section. From that perspective, maybe something more like Bramble's paws with the claws unsheathed at the lake's edge, or Bramble on the shore alone cleaning his paw with his claws extended and a vaguely ominous look on his face? It'd convey similar message, probably, and would be less likely to get automatically veto'd by the publisher.

It would also be cool to see warriors go the wings of fire route with its covers. Have a character in a background they are in in the book with something extra on the back of the hardcover with a cool simplistic cover if you take off the jacket.
for the one of starlight. the dutch one has literaly leafpaw/leafpool on the cover walking towards some starclan cats with the moonpool behind them! so this one isnt that big of a bad one in my opinion

The best thing about the twilight cover you made is that Crowfeather is a black cat and in some books or RUclips thumbnails a mystery character would just be pure black (sometimes with a ? on them)

Wow! You did an absolutely phenomenal job!! These covers are so interesting, and I dont think they reveal any spoilers whatsoever. The way you make Brambleclaw's paws, the blood in the lake, its all perfect! I hate Bramble, but if I didnt know who he was, your cover redesign would definitely make me way more interested. Exactly what we need for The New Prophecy!
I think the german covers are usually better at making minor spoilers and also making it more interesting to look at than the english books- so I'm glad you took inspiration from that since I love almost all of the german covers in the new prophecy ^^

Holy. I am a fan of the covers these days (Series 4 and up) but DANG you really did an amazing job on these, I will never be able to draw like that, keep up the good work!
Those are great concepts! I would love to see more scenes from the books on the covers instead of just the main characters. Imagine this: you’re in a book store looking for a new book series to start on. You’ve never heard of warrior cats, never been in the fandom, never even heard of the name and see a book cover with just a cat.. doesn’t really make me want to explore it tbh... and I had the same with survivors. I never read anything of survivors and never been into the fandom. The cover looks great in a artistic perspective but it’s just not interesting....
Personally, I really enjoy the original New Prophecy covers, I think their colors are beautiful and I like their faraway shots/silhouettes with a cat portrait in the middle. That said, I really enjoy your redesign concepts too! I think my favorite of your redesigns is Starlight, it's very pretty, it's easy to tell what's going on, and it fits the book's name. My least favorite is probably Dawn, I'm not sure I like the yellow tone. Great video, you've earned a new subscriber!

Yours are amazing! I would rebuy all of the books again just to get your covers. I definitely preferred the originals for the second series, but I quite like the new ones for Power of Three (specifically Eclipse). You could make this a series where you improve the least memorable and interesting book covers, and make the good ones look bad!

If you didn’t notice in the old book cover for twilight, the cats are on the rocks because the badgers are below and it portrays the scene where the badgers attack them
I love these covers a lot more! They are all really good and the only thing I can say is that adding more cats onto Dawn would make more sense, as the reader might look at it and think it's only two cats running away.

Your Cover look Great but something I would change is the sunset Cover to make the blood look more red
I like these because if you are trying to reference a book, you can actually look at the cover and know what happens. With the awkward close ups, you have no clue what the book is about if you don’t remember.
I would spend twice as much on a box set with these covers then the official covers.

This is fricking epic. I love these concepts!! I never hated the covers for The New Prophecy, but these showed so much more emotion and much more of what happens in the actual book, instead of just a cat taking selfies and not knowing it was zoomed in.
I might do something similar to this, if you don't mind?? For a different arc, obviously.

These are great!! I do think that it would be a bit too much to have the scene with Crowpaw and Sharptooth, but I definitely like the idea of sharptooth in the cover. Like maybe instead of seeing them, you see a giant shadow looming over the main characters and the tribe cats (basically what I’d imagine it would look like right before Sharptooh attacked). But other than that, they’re all amazing!! Especially the last one, which I feel can be misleading and interesting for an outside reader.

I like your cover for Midnight way more since I don't like staring into Breeze pelts face, a cat who hasn't even been born.
since I'm spanish, I obviously read the spanish versions of the books, which are the same as the german. But there's some that you will love, and others that you just wanna burn. What I like about this covers is that, just like in the new english covers, there's a close-up of a cat, but in the spanish ones, there's a scene of the book under the cat., (for example, in rising storm, the cat was yellowfang and there was cats escaping from the fire)
WOAH, these are so much more interesting to look at! Sure, there’s a lot of detail in the originals, but it gets old eventually and it’s hard to tell what’s even happening or who the cat is at all. You can’t tell what’s going to go down in the book, making all of them look the same. But YOUR covers are perfect! I especially love the one at the end with Brambleclaw and the bloody lake water, if it was the actual cover it would REALLY get new readers worried about if Brambleclaw was going to betray Firestar after all. From an outsider’s perspective, it makes the book look like Brambleclaw’s downfall into a villain, but it turns out that the blood is actually his evil brother’s.
It’s just - AAAAHH I love this idea so much!! Good job!! :D

I honestly like the new prophecy covers- they're just funny and I like it.
I never really noticed how bad the covers where from The New Prophecy until i saw a bit more about it on youtube, and i tottally agree with everyone, they really are boring, and just so empty to explaining what happens in the books.
I must say that i really adore your new covers! You explained everything so well in the video, and how you avoided spoilers but also made some really tempting and interresting covers at the same time! I especially like the one for Twillight with Leafpool looking over her shoulder, her expression is gold, and the colours are really pretty too. I was afraid it was too much of a spoiler, but since you just reminded me that their bond was already revealed in Starlight, it makes alot more sense.
The Dawn one was really pretty too, with the kits and stuff, since alot of kits died on the journey. I never really saw anyone bring that up so i really like that!
The Sunset one was also really cool, not revealing too much but also like “what happens here???” You know.
And i abselutly adore the one for Starlight! The scene where Leafpool finds the moonpool, aGh i love that scene so much! And you made it so interresting with the colours and everything! Beautiful cover ✨

I love the original cover for Sunset, it was actually the book that got me into Warriors, I found it in the school library, saw cats and was like; OH?? (Originally my child brain thought it was a book about strays because I thought the trail of stars was a street of car lights and the cat looking down on the city??)
I tried to check it out but my librarian said it was above my reading level.
So a few years later I saw Sunset again & looked into the series. :> Now I own the first 3 arcs, sadly they're all the new covers, oh how I'd love to have the original Sunset book for that nostalgia.
But, I abosolutely love all these designs!!
