- Muireann and Alan are joined by Eoghan Tomás McDermott to discuss the recent arrest of a man in his 20's in connection with the brutal murder of two Sligo men and attack of a third man is left with serious eye injuries.
The latest victim, a man in his 50s, was found dead in an apartment at Connaughton Road at 10.30pm on Tuesday night with what gardaí described as “significant physical injuries”.
Eoghan says it is understood Aidan Moffitt was due to meet with someone from a dating app on Sunday night after leaving a local pub.
Eoghan tells Muireann and Alan that An Garda Síochána has warned the public to be safe meeting with people online.

Pure mockery, I knew there is something not right about this Ukranian war, there is some kind of bate & switch going on. They show pics of fair haired Ukranian kids felling war in the media, then when go to Airport to pick them up they are all called "abdul" or African black.
Ukraine is almost 100% European (the majority is Ukrainian, but there are millions of ethnic Russians and also sizeable populations of Hungarians, Poles, Romanians, Roma, Bulgars and Slovaks in the territories in the West once belonging to Slovakia, Poland and Romania) and so there may be something fishy going on.
However, there were many foreign students in places like Kharkiv, whom you may remember the Poles were reluctant to admit as part of the 'Ukrainian' refugee flow. I personally know an Iraqi couple who had to return to Iraq with their child once their studies had been completed. The Irish Government may be accepting some of these irregular cases as the seem to think we're clueless and won't notice.
