I lived in Vienna for 2 years.. Sorry to inform you that where you were is not the nightlife area..its the tourist district .. You need to head to the Neubau (7th District) for the real bars,clubs & nightlife

I had a brilliant night at the Bars and Clubs on this video, I met people from many countries on nights out there and some Austrian people too. Fun Bars Like Kaktus and Irish pub etc
@@travelwithcol4625 you were in the so-called 'Bermuda triangle' area, which is the "mainstream" bar area of the inner city. For the indie clubs and more interesting/hip night clubs, either 7th district as well as the so-called 'Gürtel'-area are the places to go. Also the Danube channel is nice in summer.
Vienna's 'Hard Rock Café', unfortunately, is not the most interesting one.

The ,,gulyas " is traditional food of hungary not austria !!!!!!! Scnitzel is realy austrian food but the ,,gulyas" is never, is just like u say the : the ,,Fish and Chips" are traditional french food !!!!! Or the Scotch Ale is traditional french beer......
There is 2 types of Goulash Hungarian and Austrian! Austrian Goulash is slightly different to Hungarian! The Croissant was invented by Austria to not France 🙏 please Subscribe @ Travel with Col for more of my Guided Tours from the Best Travel Destinations
@@travelwithcol4625 the gulasch from vienna is better than the hungarian or german, maybe it comes from hungary but the austrian version is more delicious

@@travelwithcol4625 there are several variations of austrian gulasch, none of them similar to hungarian gulyas. gulyas is a soup, similar to austrian gulaschsuppe. the hungarian equivalent to austrian gulasch is pörkölt.
Rob it’s debatable because people in Austria told me it is their own version of Goulash, it’s different to the Hugarinan Goulash
“Hungarian-style goulash like gulyás or pörkölt is often soupy and contains bell peppers or potatoes, the Viennese-style goulash only contains beef and onions.” From Google

It’s one of the borrings Nightlife Towns in Europe
