I just brought one today, but Should the volume be low I set it up to the highest level and it is still low nothing like my iPhone. And there is not enough info in the manual to learn how to use.
It is not bad but there are better cameras for close up shots. Much better is Sony Cyber-shot HX60 (the best macro is at aaprox. 5.5× optical zoom), Canon SX430 (approx. at 4× zoom, but it is slow and does not take great pixtures). Usually Nikon cameras are great for macro but I have not tested them yet, so I cannot say that I would recommend them (from my experience with previous Nikon cameras, I would guess that Nikon B500 could be very good, but as I have said, I have not tried it yet).

No, it can not (specs are in the beginning of the video, there is 30p only). For a slow motion video, you should buy something else, not Canon. Nikons have 120fps option but only in VGA resolution (480p) which means extremely low quality. If I remember correctly, there are some Panasonic TZxx ultrazooms which have 100fps/120fps option in HD 720p resolution.
LG G6 has two lens, one with 71° angle of view and the second one with 100°. IXUS 285 HS has 25mm EQ lens, that means approx. 82° angle of view. If you want to compare image quality, you can visit our review with full resolution photos and consider their quality by yourself if it is enough for you.
What does it mean "better"? Better in what? Ferrari is better for racing than Ford Transit but Ford Transit is better for transporting goods than Ferrari. So what is better? You have to specify. There is no general answer for such an incomplete question. We can say that SX620 HS provides more functions (better zoom for example) but it is a little bit larger, heavier and more expensive. Only you can know if these differences make SX620 the better camera or not. In general, these cameras are very similar to each other, they have the same CMOS sensor and, therefore, very similar image quality. The differences will come from lens (better zoom,...).
That is still not complete answer. Better quality when shooting what? In general, it should be more or less the same (sensor size is the same, aperture is bad in both cases,...). Coolpix B500 will take better macro shots and it is able to reach bigger zoom but the image and video quality will be more or less similar. I would not expect large differences. The differences are in capabilities but not so much in image quality.
i have that camera very good for 5 feet away like 24 pixels camera but any objects over 5 feet losers details and feels like a switch image because of the sensor. it is a grade one camera not a grade 2 camera like 24 or 26 pixels. i use it for my artwork and people behind objects or walls. i like it for close photography. very good camera and formats too. over all it very good for basic photos

Nope definitely not, some people recommend the elph 360 over the sony wx350 which is a higher end camera than you bought. I would've bought the elph.
