Help, I don't know why now, if my character goes diagonally he can't enter the iceground, and now he goes much faster than normal, even though the moveSpd and the WalkSpd are 1.

How do I include an items menu and chest storage? For that matter, do I add unique interactions based on items being in the right place? Like checks or whatever?

i was watching your top down shooter gun tutorial, could you explain how you would do the shoot timer so that you can only shoot a small number of bullets before having to press again and then having to wait, kind of like an AK, like short burst of bullets

hey! i’m pretty new to game maker and i couldn’t thank you enough for the tutorials! i’m trying to make a undertale/omori style rpg and your videos are the ones who is serving the most help! if you allow me, i would ask you if you can make a tutorial teaching how to make a cutscene (like the one in the beginning of undertale that tells the story behind it) and how to implement sounds. i can’t find anything about the cutscene in specifc that seems to help. anyways, thanks for everything!! you’re awesome!

I just need some help with one issue...When my player moves diagonally, it goes faster than it would be moving if it was just moving in one of the four directions - Left, Right, Up, and Down. What code do I need to use to fix this? Thanks!
you need to use clamp, watch his first video in the top down shooter series he goes over it
