I really like this ost as its very different from the other bosses. its intense like the others but in a way it this bit of sadness in it. like the boss is taking his frustrations on you. very well done and is most certainly unique compared to the other tracks.
I don't know how, but I managed to beat him on my first attempt. On BC4. Granted, I had 25 brutality stats, and I had all four flasks, but they were used up amidst the chaos and I had a smidge of health left. The fight was exhilarating. I was hyperventilating after that gardener fell down.
Well, i got to him at BC1, and had no clue who's the boss and how to fight them. A the time, i always used the strategy of barbed tips and spammy bows/repeater crossbow, because it melted bosses in 3 seconds. I was prepared for an easy bossfight, when scarecrow started doing his dig/hit thing, and i saw the arrows fall out each time and... I felt like a jojo villan, who's stand ability was figured out. I was so confused because the boss didn't die immediately, that i forgot to heal and died. Scarecrow is my favourite boss now.
recently got the game and fought this guy on 1bc on my first attempt, wasn’t finding him too hard but my mistakes got me to die when he had like less than 1/3 of his health left. I haven’t been able to get back to him on 1bc since I’m just really bad at rougelikes (is it rougelike or roughelite? I’m still not exactly sure) but I have gotten back to him on 0bc. (is that the proper term for no boss cells activated?)Surprisingly decimated him the quick bow and barbed tips, along with leghugger just giving moral support since they really couldn’t do anything during the boss. Anyhow, I really want to get back to him on 1bc and defeat him since it would feel rewarding
I really like the way bosses are represented through their soundtracks. HotK's is slow, heavy, and consistent, the Queen's starts out slow and ramps up in speed over time, and Scarecrow's is somewhat short and suddenly transitions into being incredibly fast and frantic. Really wish more people talked about these tracks.
Yeah. Imagine not adding that teeny-tiny detail to the title. Adding a handful of extra key strokes must have been soooooo haaaaard for poor Valmont. :c
I cannot express how good these soundtracks are. Definitely buying the dlc just for the music alone not to mention some absolute bangers of levels I’ve seen
Super unfortunate that Scarecrow is such a quick fight. Fittingly frantic, but over so fast that very few might hear more than half of this song naturally. Still A++
His combos are good enough that if you don’t have a shield you ain’t getting a flawless kill. Not like I’ve done it he is one of the hardest bosses for me.
i think it is amazing how during the song, you can hear the emotion of that boss them self. this is fast and light like the scarecrow but the giants theme is heavy and slower. yet all of the music in this game is perfect.
I have no precise idea, felt it sounded good. It's different whispered words from EastWest Symphonic Choir plugin. Couldn't find the full list but here's what they say in the manual: " The whispered words are real words, such as “blood,” “dream,” “evil,” “silence,” and “Hallelujah!” "
