I don't like it so much personnaly, no damage him is horrible: at low heal it's hard to parry his attacks and some mushroom attacks are unbalanced when you are on certains positions
@@brokenman4414 his attack speed changes depending on his hp and that's not telegraphed that's always what catches us to not get the no hit and on 3 bc above he hits like a truck so ya no everyone never goes to this boss unless you have a good damage over time build anything slow in your build just means you're asking for death

You can see that scarecrow is sad, signifying that he chose to create life in the form of plants rather than to destroy life. Being the royal gardener he also loves plants hence he doesn't like you stepping on them
I beat this boss with the rapier in about 45 seconds with 20 brutality since he was easy to dodge and parry, although it wasn't a hitless because I got hit by the sickles when I accidentally jumped instead of rolling
I recently figured this isn't even as hard as it seems if you are willing to use a shield. Spiked shield works wonders and many of the attacks are insanely easy to parry.
@@jonnikalvin1717 it took him 3 minutes on this boss tho, thats like 3-4 stacks of malaise on top of the malaise from biome (assuming he doesnt drink). No hitting that would be a different story
This boss is pretty easy, I’m pretty average at the game and I only fought him four times without too much trouble and on my fourth run, I melted him on 3bc and got a the no hit achievement and the “In mushroom we trust” achievement because he died so fast that there never came a time where I needed to bounce on the mushrooms. Also because I was using the electric whip and that weapon has good air stall when attacking midair with it. The funny thing is that the mushroom bois that he summons deals more damage than the scarecrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if they buffed this boss or nerf the mushroom bois because they hit really hard for a small monster.
There's actually quite a few throughout the dlc biomes. If you go through them all, you'll find a series of notes written by the Royal Gardener/Scarecrow before he falls to the malaise.

i think his attacks are extremely well telegraphed, i wrecked him with the spiked shield whenever he went on a shovel/scythe swinging spree

Glad to see that Dead Cells is still such an awesome game that receives DLCs 5 years after it came out.

The scarecrow was one of the 2nd hardest bosses in the game for me. Took me 2 or 3 tries to beat him. Really cool and fun boss fight though😃
