Glad you think so
Couldn't agree more. This guy is one of the people who deserve millions of subscribers
@@AstroCatzcorrection the sun is white not yellow white
And for me a real RUclips ad literally appeared after that ad.
@@Mojoboy-p4dNah, it’s a little bit yellow. Yellow dwarfs are yellow white, while cool yellow dwarfs can be mostly yellow and hotter ones could be almost white. F type stars are white
Never forget. Warm the sun up by like 250 degrees (°C/K) and it's spectral time would COMPLETELY change.
We need to look at more K type stars. Then maybe we will have better chances to find life
Hello
Even tho ive only watched the latest 3 videos this is probably my favourite astronomy based channel
ty o(・ -・)
another plus is that the habitable zone in a K-star system, is far enough from the star that a planet in the habitable zone avoids getting tidally locked and increases the chance of having a magnetic field to protect their atmospheres.
I loved watching this! I love space and astromny so this is right up my ally. I loved how you combinded educational science with art overall enjoyable. Hope too see more videos like this!
7:34 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-orange dwarf
It's crazy how big our universe can be. You thought our solar system was big? Well there's whole stars bigger than that. It makes us feel very small. Space is scary but also extremely fascinating to me. Whole other worlds beyond our comprehension out there. It feels like anything would could think of is at least out there somewhere.
作者你的视频质量太好了,我支持你🎉🎉🎉
now that you're narrating I can take you seriously in an education environment. your material is great for classrooms now
so informative, funny, beautifully animated and creative! AMAZING! 🌺🌺🌺
Funnily enough „k“ is my favourite letter it’s also fine -c- koolest letter in the entire alphabet.
8:46 magnetic fields are really expensive nowadays. I remember when they were a steal.
The moment I pressee the ad thingy when its at 1 second I immediately got a real ad 😭💀
Perfect video range for explain anything
Yes more of Astro cat :3
Astrocat is a great youtuber. Thank him for his content.
Since I don't plan to move to another planet orbiting another star, I admire other stars for their aesthetic properties rather than for their ability to nurture habitable planets. That's why I love blue stars!!!! Yay!!! 💙😃💙
A-type main-sequence star (dwarf star) : Hold my Plasma
Very nice, Stars are quite interesting, Yes?
You’re interesting😌
@@mars-jr5uu Thank you.
Every people is interesting with their own abillities and other things. Stars also interesting too.
@@Idontknowhaattoputinmyhandle yes, very true.
luv it :3
please don't stop making these vids!
imagine this plot: an alien civilization developed on a planet orbiting an F-class star at the moment when the star began to turn into a red giant, and on this planet the temperature rises by one degree every 100 years. And when civilization develops well enough, all intelligent beings on this planet realize that they will turn into steaks in 1000 years
I saw just recently that plants thrive better under the light of a K-type star than G-type. Not sure if all plants or not, however.
In principle, it is possible to extend the Sun's lifespan via "starlifting", in this case removing hydrogen from Sun, perhaps siphoning it off to be used elsewhere.
Hydrogen is a crucial component in star formation, so that wouldn't work
There's a reason why stars have it in their composition, so that it can be fused and burned.
Daugh, BLUD wants to reduced the suns lifespan so we can have a death warning much earlier. 😂
@@AstroNovelist54 I guess lol
Pulling alot of exterior hydrogen is unavoidable during “starlifting” but the goal is actually to separate out the heavier elements and then return just the hydrogen back to the star at a controlled rate.
Omg i totally forgot about your channel 😭 been subbed for a long time. I'll watch your videos again :)
I love cute catboy. Of course I'm here for astronomy too
Orange stars are seriously underrated
The Sun will last until 8 BYFN in red giant phase, but only up to 5 BYFN in main sequence (and 5-7 BYFN in subgiant phase), correct? Tons of other channels that do solar system timelines had their videos say that, Algol and MrPlasma being two of them.
3 stars which are likely to have live... F type, G type, And K type.
F type produce 100 times more UV radiation than the Sun like stars so those living beings on those theorical habitable enough planets should have their planets have much thicker Ozone and a several folds stronger Magnetic field assuming that Earth like world would have a massive enough Moon or the Core would cooled down much Eariler like Mars
I like your songs of older videos
What I think for a star for life is a k type star due to being less prone to solar flares compared to M type stars while being a star type that second longest life span compared to other star types.
2:17 Astrocat: What on Earth makes these orange dwarfs more promising?
2:20 Astrolittlecat: Waaaait a second, orange dwarfs are not on ear-
Great👍
"Ad": Tired of your boring old star? Buy a new K-type today! They're more plentiful and last longer!
Me: SOLD! Where can I get one? :)
Whose there Micro-machine Man (yeah, I am that old)
EDIT: I had you on 2x speed and didn’t know it, lol
Some suns of that type have the planets like Earth
( Like the D-370 aka the dark matter planet)
( The OC planet i make by my mind )
3:57 where can i buy it? I want the new star.
Since we have 1 civilian around a yellow dwarf and 0 known around a orange dwarf, the facts would say otherwise! However, since orange dwarf planets may not be tidally locked, they are more promising than red dwaves.
Bro I got an actual ad at 4:21
Me who click video title and click ×
The comments: old
i made my fantasy world map surround an orange dwarf
The fact the video is 9:11 minutes long like some thing that happend in september 11 2001
15 mins ago 😮
can u make future of our solar system but lanets being terraformed and no super sungiant?
But the Habitable zone would be smaller and closer in to the star. Also I am a Solophile.
Bro i got a ad after the fake ad😂😂
I got an other add after the add that’s part of the video? 💀💀💀
Ello
If we're looking for extraterrestrial life then K star systems it is. But Humans are probably better off with G star systems if we're looking for potential places to settle in. Again, shorter lives but billions of years is still pretty long. Though K star system aren't that bad too.
Fun Fact: There may be more exoplanets than stars.
the sun wasnt the best star for life yet still decided to get life
💀
Dude The Sun is S Tier enough
The Andromeda Galaxy is 0.98 times the size of the Milky Way, but 2.21 times the mass
The very last sentence sounds forced or idk, but good vid!
Yellow dwarfs are also best for lives
Why the video is exactly 9 minutes and 11 seconds 🤔
UM
How beatiful God created this planet for us and this Sun special for creatures from earth.God is almighty.
😅Enjoy th sun while it still exists ❤.
Yes, i can see that K type Orange/yellow Main Sequence Stars could harbor life, but i have a few problems with that,
1. Planets there would have unstable tides due to a lack of a moon because of how small the solar system would be, like 1 AU would be far in a system like this
2. even if its less unstable than a red dwarf, Solar winds are still gonna be more harsh than in a G type star. so it would be hard to make a stable magnetosphere to support life
3. the Planets are rather close to them which would cause some planets to maybe collide if there orbits are a little to eccentric
4. back to 1. The system is so small that it would be difficult to have a planet that is not tidally locked, which would be horrible for the lifeforms developing there because of the system size
They still have alot of benefits explained in that video which i agree to, but there are still alot of problems, thats why i would say g type stars are more stable and have slightly better chances than harboring life other than a K type star, but id say that both stars are in a Sweet spot for good habitable life.
9:11 WTF THIS IS 9 MINUTES 11 SECONDS LONG. 9/11 MEME💀
no bro its not on purpose
I thought the Sun was also an orange dwarf.
Orange dwarfs can live for around 20B years
Yellow Dwarfs Can live for around 5-7B years
Red Dwarfs can live for trillions of years
Do these exoplanets not have moons?
Some probably do but it is hard to see them.
i think m type stars are good too. the stars dont have a red giant stage, and they have about a trillion years to develop life
This channel kind of like @kurzgesagt

Bro make up your mind either you don’t believe in habitable exoplanets or believe in habitable exoplanets
Edit: people don’t know how to read 3 weeks ago
Can't It be that there could be but we need better data to know for sure.

That wouldn’t work as it still won’t have enough things to eat around it to ignite it and would only become a brown dwarf aka a failed star
