You're just as pretty without makeup. Plus, God doesn't see as man sees. Reread His conversation with Samuel upon the anointing of Saul and David.

My son died 3 years ago at the age of 27. He was who I cooked for. I have had no desire to be in the kitchen since.
Thank you for being an inspiration to help me get in there and just do it. I put you on and listen to you while I get things done in the kitchen. Thank you so much. You are a blessing.
I know you understand. The last year has been hard for you. So glad you are back to doing what you do. We appreciate you. Prayers for you and yours always.

1:05:36 Jamerill I agree with you. There is something incredibly special about women working in the kitchen together. That's my favorite part of the holidays - having my daughter & granddaughter (&bonus daughters) in the kitchen working together, laughing talking. I think this is such a wonderful idea to do this in the late days of Spring to prepare for summer. It's supposed to rain this weekend, so I'm going to start planning now. Thank you for such a wonderful idea!

A tip with onions. Soak them for a short while in water and you will find them so much easier to peel. We cut up 30kg at a time and always do this. We take the tops off under water as we take them out and that cuts down on the amount of onion vapour in the air too. I have noticed that once I get over the initial watery eyes it doesn't worry me for the rest of the time. Greetings from 5.30am on the east mid coast of Australia.

In certain areas, such as the Amish community of women often get together and cook large meals for their families and other families in the community. Wouldn’t the world be better off if we all got together and shared the load of work? I believe we could do so much better if we all did that. God bless

The only way I can avoid the tears when cutting a lot of onions is to have a Small fan blowing across my cutting board. It works for me.

🤓Sulfenic acid from the onion is volatile and is attracted to water which creates a chemical reaction making sulfuric acid. The acid reacts with the water in the paper towel before reaching the water in your eyes. 🤓

A food processor would be a great help to you for all the prepping and chopping of vegetables, it will save you so much time, you could peel a huge bag of onions, or carrots, and bag and freeze and use when needed. 💐

Love this videos! So many great ideas and tips. My husband and I have strict dietary issues but it doesn’t mean I still can’t learn something new or adapt a recipe you share. I’m having two surgeries coming up and I’m going to be laid up for a couple months. I made 12 different freezer meals with multiples of single portion servings. So when I come home and only want soup hubby can heat up soup for me and pick a meal for himself. Today I finished up, I made pizza toppings for mini low carb pizzas we like. I cooked up 5 pounds of Italian sausage, 2 pounds of mushrooms and 1 pound of pepperoni. I chopped the mushrooms and pepperoni in the food processor and then added them to the pan with the sausage. After everything was cooked I drained the mixture and placed 2 cups of the mixture in a bag and vacuum sealed them. For a total of 11 bags. So we can have mini pizzas 11 times. And it doesn’t matter how long it’s in the freezer because it’s vacuum sealed. Thanks for the educational videos and always saying “adapt, adapt, adapt. ❤

Sweetheart why not use a chopper or food processor to slice & process the veggies. I have RA & I can’t slice or dice without so much pain. This will make the process easier. Especially with veggies like regular potatoes sweet potatoes carrots onions & celery..

Oh my gosh, onions can be brutal. I have heard if you put them under water, it makes it easier on the eyes. I've never tried it personally, because it just sounds to messy. Oh my gosh, sweet potato chili sounds delicious. I have to try this one.
