After the entire series Dan and Arin finally find the custom marker Arin placed in the first episode.
I came looking for this comment because I thought the same thing!

The confusion with the waypoint (Big X) they placed episode one tickled me way more than I expected.
Getting confused by their own waypoint marker is SUCH a Grumps moment, I loved it!
I worry about them sometimes.
When they dropped it by accident in Ep 1, I said "Oh this is going to pay off at some point" and I'm so glad I was right.
I'm confused because I don't remember them doing that either, so I completely understand

Barry started his own channel years ago, and he was a great member of the grump team. Dan and Arin probably still love him to bits. He just chose to leave the channel himself.

I honestly wanted to do this but I'm real tired and lazy right now so I'm glad someone did it. But, there was one part that made me laugh my ass off for like 3 minutes and I have no idea why. It was when the witch was giving them scraps and Arin was like "Two! :D"

Oh man, as soon as they finally went after the X marker (the custom waypoint marker that Arin unknowingly placed in ep 1), I started PRAYING for Charles to attack them at that moment. I was not disappointed! They literally set up their own trap! 😆
Dan getting scared and calling Arin a B-fing skank nearly made me choke to death on the food I was eating.
Especially since Arin was actually playing perfectly. Dan was just TOO SCARED of Barry!!

One thing I really don't understand is how Dan and Arin both can pick up on the subtle sounds the player makes when you take fall damage, or the ''boom'' sounds when youopen the map that Dan commented on, but neither of them at any point so far (36 minutes in) can hear the sound of Charlie coming despite him honking his horn like crazy.. Truly a Game Grumps moment
Depends on how high they have their sound. If they're talking, they might not hear Charlie's whistle.

@@resileaf9501 Yes, like I said in my original comment I was 36 minutes in, and they did start noticing it towards the end of the episode. I don't know though, I personally heard the whistle sound louder than the music every time, but maybe that's just me, then.

I heard the horn and was like "oh god they don't realize" when Arin hopped out of the train.
When he first said "please don't make it," I thought he was asking Charles not to attack before he made it back the the train 🤣
Arin turning around at 56:22 to almost frame perfect perfection to completely miss seeing the bright yellow box on the side of the track containing a bunch of scraps. Classic. 🚂

2 episodes and 11 minutes and arin finally notices the custom waypoint he made at the very beginning
Dans crippling fear of sharks was really getting triggered in that swamp scene I felt so bad for him
Oh yeah, this episode really had both of their greatest fears in it! That's top notch.
He was enjoying it, especially when it swam up adjacent to Arin.
The blue paint is the perfect "the legend of zelda" like prize for our boy Dan. The guys really seemed to enjoy this game, I hope they find more games like this.

It's hard to express how much Ally's giggles in the background help this episode.

@@hizzy808 she helps with production also they use to spend a lot of time off screen searching up stuff to help when they get stuck so now she is always there to help and keep things flowing a little easier so they get more episodes done on time along with all their other projects

I had a flashback to the first episode when he dropped that random marker and I remember thinking he was gonna be confused about it later.
Rather lovely that this is one of the rare Holy Grails that is their 100% play-throughs. Love this game, and I'm happy they enjoyed it enough to grind through the upgrades. Mega radical and fun episode!
