What is Graceland? A money maker. What was Graceland? Elvis beloved home

That's all Elvis presley was to those that knew him he was a money maker Elvis Presley was human he only wanted to be loved for himself it's sad how this amazing beautiful humble hearted man was taken so much for granted a used. Elvis Presley was a money making man he'd be sad if he knew his home is being used now to rob his poor fansa used as a tour building. Elvis Presley wanted Lisa Marie a her family to live there someday. Elvis Presley was not a greedy man he was a giving a forgiving man. They will never make a real live true movie of Elvis Presley life. ,,,,,,,it will just be as people say it was. To make more s more money. That's sad 😢😔😔 Elvis Presley would not approve of his home being used like this. Elvis Presley worth more money dead then alive. I believe in my own personal opinion Elvis was murdered.

I can't agree with your opinion more, I've watch many, many Documentaries from his Inner group, Lamar Fife, Sonny West, Joe Esposito, Red, Larry his hair stylist, his Army buddies, and family etc, and it's clear why many hung with him, although in all fairness these guys actually left their wives to work for Elvis, but they knew in order to do this job it required their full time and basically not having a life of their own but Elvis had to have this sort of commitment in order for his protection to work, and his e everyday life to function he couldnt hardly go anywhere without others to protect him. also Elvis was deeply afraid of the General public he knew he had hateful jealous people out their that wanted to kill him so he truly needed these friends.
His crew were not all fair in their interviews after he died.

The name "Graceland" should ONLY BE defining the HOME of Elvis....no other building should contain the name Graceland. And a lot of what has been done around Elvis' home, Elvis would NOT approve of because it is NOT affordable to the "masses." Elvis' fans are for the most part not the wealthy; nor are they all middle class fans...so affordable to the 'masses' is not a correct statement, Joel.

He wanted his concerts to be affordable so more of his fans could see him, he came from humble beginnings, and thats why he shared his wealth with freinds and family and strangers and numerous charities, Arizona Memorial one, helped Danny Thomas with St Jude, I Love Elvis lifetime fan, best entertainer to walk this earth, I visited Graceland it's as beautiful as Elvis, dream come true, if Graceland was not opened to the public it would have been sold, it was costing more money to upkeep Graceland then what was coming in to the estate, Colonel Parker and others was taking a big part of Elvis earnings when it was supposed to be going to Lisa, even after his death, Graceland is owned by Lisa, Elvis's only child, her mom Pircilla didn't want Lisa to loose it, she had to make the hard decision to open Graceland to the public, Lisa was only a child, Elvis would want his daughter to be taken cared of !

Exactly if it was his way it would be affordable at low cost so all his fans could see it and experience it heck when he was alive he would invite people over and show them his house

@@mariegarner3045 So true need to be a Elvis fan to know Elvis would go down to the gate sometimes and invite fans to the house, one of his Memphis Mafia security people said and it's on video ,that he counted over a hundred fans in Graceland one night lol !

It use to be that the house called “Falling Water” designed by Frank Lloyd Wright was the 2nd most visited home in America but it is true, it is now Graceland. I will bet Graceland ends up passing up the Whitehouse sooner than later.

Elvis was a circus show. His capes his show his glitz. He was the Liberace of ballads and rock. Elvis repeatedly said, "Will people remember me?" EPE may be making money but they are keeping the name and the magic of Elvis alive. The more people that come there, the more people that feel the magic of Elvis.

I am supposing you never saw Elvis in Vegas with your comment. He was not a circus show. That is an insult to this charismatic, beautiful beyond belief ball of electricity that I saw through the years. He wore capes, which I hated, for 2 years of his 42 years on earth.
The "glitter" you claim didn't arrive until '72 with studs and gemstones on the jumpsuits. I saw him numerous times not in a jumpsuit at all, but in two piece outfits. To compare someone like Elvis to Liberace, who I also saw in Vegas tells me more about you than what you say.
I have never witnessed anything as spectacular as Elvis in my life before or since. You couldn't take your eyes off him. He was a good and humble man who adored his fans and who was filled with so much talent. Awesomeness all rolled up into one man.

He wouldn't want this at all he even said to his close people when he was alive they dont see me they see the image he was a human being and his home was his sanctuary now it's a giant tourist attraction and epe made a circus with them as the ring master this is all about money and aka revenue not about elvis or his music or his life or even his movies he was bigger than Memphis but was a humble shy human being they need to separate his house from the circus they made and let him rest in peace in his sanctuary graceland should have went to his family not Priscilla he wouldn't want it with her

Lisa Marie would have lost (sold) Graceland. She is a screwed up person. Drugs would have been more important than her father's home. So that is the ONLY reason I agree with Lisa's mother stepping in. But even that boils my blood.... Priscilla has rode on Elvis' name and fame from the day he passed.

Luckily Micheals mother won the case . I hope that Priscilla win the case in court also. These people smell the money and the vunerable people. Yuk!
