This reminds me of a story my buddy shared with me over a beer. He had something like this happen to his work, but it turned out way worse than management expected. His Management had camera's installed everywhere to try and see any slacking off. They made it clear that any slacking off would end up with a write up... So he decided to convince all his co-workers that it didn't matter how much the camera's saw, cause they are paid by the hour. not how good of a job they do. Hehe. So everyone decided to take it nice and slow for 2 weeks. Costing the company over 20% of their profits. And the management was searching hard for an answer on how that would happen... Until a wise manager decided to ask the workers what happened afterwork, bringing them to a bar and buying them all a meal and drinks on him. Cost him about $500 but he not only got an answer but also striking a deal with those workers. It took another week before the Wise Manager could get heard, but with no other "manager option" remaining, they decided to listen to him. The workers not only got the cameras removed but also got A/C & permission to listen to music. They went from -20% profits to over 50% above expected profits. And any time someone tried to mess with that system, well...that magical profit tended to take a dive real quick.
When my father got a new supervisor at work, the supervisor said that once he goes home, only call him if “someone is dead or dying and it is one of ours.”
I worked an after hours answering service for a while and some of the asinine, non-emergency crap people would call in for like it was the end of the world just left me sitting there with my jaw open. Had a lady calling after hours to submit an emergency maintenance request because there was a dead mouse in her living room... I just wanted to say "Get a paper towel and throw it away you damn child!" I also had an old guy call in once to request a roof inspection 2 days before Thanksgiving. Insisting it be done tomorrow...
It'd be a real shame if some of those camera wires were "accidentally" torn out/rendered completely inoperable during routine maintenance. Yup. A real shame.
On the railroad we seriously have cameras on us at all times. If you 'accidently' ruin them and they have the slightest hint you did it on purpose you will never work for the railroad again.

This is TOO ACCURATE! I work in a warehouse and earlier this year it was time for everyone’s yearly evaluations and raises. Business has been somewhat slow recently and so management gave us warehouse workers very small raises (roughly a 1-2% raise depending on how much they like you, and inflation where I live has gone up about 7% in the last year, meaning after the raise the workers are working for essentially less money than a year ago due to the decreased buying power) The boss (who drives a brand new $100,000+ diesel truck and makes a 6 figure salary) said they wish they could afford to give us more and we deserve more but the business can’t afford it right now. Then just 2 weeks after killing morale with sub standard yearly pay adjustments, they doubled the cameras in the warehouse from 20 to 40. The security company was there for a week running all the wires and installing the cameras and DVRs. Im sure that wasn’t cheap, but apparently it was more important than paying the workers who produce all the company’s profit a living wage

I had this job, just before I quit because of verbal abuse, where my direct supervisor acted like his time was 100 times more valuable than mine, anytime I had to work with him was pain, waiting 30-40 minutes to start work on a single piece, an hour lunch break at some random point in the day and the verbal abuse if he even thought I was doing something wrong, I quit 3 weeks ago and now I work at a place that pays more and simply asks me to keep a single production line going.

Oh snap!!! I can’t wait to meet Darrell
I like how the boss said "Daryl" and then "Daryl?" like he wasn't sure that he got the employee's name right. Daryl is just a number. Don't worry, though, the boss will be replaced by AI in the future.
as a locomotive eng this has happened to us then they told us it wouldnt be used for disipline lol
Public indecency of it😂😂
Me, a surveillance agent for a casino: Only 64? Either that space is small as hell, or those POVs will be doing the heavy lifting 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
warehouses are usually pretty wide open, so a single camera can cover a crap ton of area
@@ISometimesAgree ptzs probably help too I imagine. Most casino POV is fixed with like less than 10% able to ptz in most cases
This guy is like an American Ricky gervais 😂
They should activate the GPS on their Panasonic Scanners.
I can’t wait until Monday!
Keep it up buddy I drive one as well. Lol hahaha 😂❤😊
Find the IT guy and get him to be your buddy. Not much the Manager can do with the system down. And they can throw him under the bus.
Our patron, Marshall Patrick, has blessed us. Satire and ridicule are the things that our bosses into morons.
To ad insult to injury the cameras are specifically designed to look like human eyes, just to add the sense of being watched 24/7
Welcome to my world. I’m a driver and we have a forward looking and driver looking camera in our trucks. No privacy is awesome.
If you stop the lift for more than 30 seconds, you're going to need to clock out. PTO has been canceled for next week. Gonna need you to come in next Saturday.
I was a supervisor at Roadway and Yellow trucking companies and I get a kick out of these videos. I would get stupid memo’s from upper management that I had to read with a straight face to the crew. One of my men asked “ How do you read that shit with a straight face ?” I had a rarely unused straight face that I saved for the occasions.
I work in a retail warehouse. We have HUNDREDS of cameras, but never catch anyone in the act of stealing.
EMPLOYEES THOUGH, OMG, you're not wearing your safety gloves!!!!!
I don't know how I came across these videos and I am not working in the trades but these videos and shorts crack me up😂😂😂 every time I run across them and so relatable to most any profession with management 😂.
I was hoping they were planning to make forklifts remotely controllable so they could control them through internet from home.
Is it good idea ?
Probably not
Is it cool; and exiting idea ?
YEAAAAAA
Did management not learn from the funeral??? The boot up the ass?? What’s this man gotta do ?! 😂
Reminds me of the time I sprayed oil on a camera. Good times
Had CCTV installed in are tiny unit we are hardly in as just a small firm, that mainly sub hire in. Anyway the boss asked one of us to install the cameras😂. They look the bollocks mate everything is aesthetically pleasing, cables hidden real neat job. Just Tim our i.t guy the best in the business just couldn't get the software working. So Tim called his guy to sort it but even he the master was stumped. Still not working and no tech who comes can work it out. So Tim ordered a new one. Were still waiting for it, got held up shipping somewhere or something.
He's gonna go to jail for embezzlement in a future episode isn't he?
New boat but did they get a new e-dog to go with the virtual work?!
Plot twist: Boss’ home builder is the fork lift’s buddy and hidden cameras are now being installed in the lake house.
Oh I like where this is going
As someone who teleworks 4/5 days a week, I resemble this skit. However, I don't supervise anyone and there are no cameras in my home.
Many laughing but many more understand. Had an owner that made sure everyone knew he bought a 3 story sitting on 2 lakes front an back. Along with the New top of the line carssss ,but we
Well, I guess you get to see us working, but since we are paid by the hour and not by our effectiveness we might be moving a little slow. You know, since we also don't have AC in the warehouse and don't want to over heat and become heat casulties that you have to pay compensation out to.
4:36 Hahahahaha!!!!
Tbh it seems like it'd cost the company less just to fire the manager who can't work on site and replace him than to install 64+ cameras alongside the infrastructure to support them.
"It's not about the money; it's about sending a message."
@@lanceknuth5300 yeah, they suck at business and are parasites
You could replace the manager with a bottle head doll.
Here's what you'd do. You bring a small bottle of strong acid. then you take a pencil and dab a fair amount on every lens.
You'll see me monday... hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Hahahahahahaha
darell was the teachers pet when I worked at tesla too man
I thought Darryl got his head ripped off?!?
Nah you're thinking of Darell
Bro, you caught me slipping! Damnit!!!
@@Burnsidef250Derell was one hell of a worker! Darryl will never be Darell 🙌
😂😂😂😂
"For anybody wondering, We did get a boat."
Every company ever, even the ones claiming they’re family oriented.
😊😊😊
Holy shit, I'd be forgotten, in Fulton county corrections by now
Our job prohibited Bluetooth speakers and music.
Quit.
Try have cameras with bluetooth sensors
I think that's an OSHA thing tbh... Unless my old boss lied to me.. they would never 😂
@@JordonRenn93 It can somewhat be considered that...if you cannot hear what's going on around you, it can be a big safety issue. But that's basically earbuds, not speakers, which wouldn't block your hearing...now if y'all were trying to play them on max volume all the time, I could see that being the issue, but just normally playing music shouldn't be an issue...I had a place I worked at years ago that didn't care if you played music, but don't let them catch you having both earbuds in, you'll get in a lot of trouble because you wouldn't be able to hear what's going on around you
Had an old boss who would watch cameras from home on his days off. Would literally call or text supervisors and tell them what he saw. Fair to say, nobody liked him lol.
My Union due is $63 a month for $24.50 an hour 5 days a week. We get at least $1 payraise every year and now these cameras and tablets can't even keep up with production equipment made when i was in my diapers.😂❤🎉
let me introduce you to my friend, magnetism XD
2:45 Daryl, congratulation on your promotion.
4:55 hmm… no one seems confident in your ability to do the job. Bah… you can’t do any worse than the guy who ran away.
For continuity sake, the next few videos with these characters should involve cameras.
Business owners are working towards AI replacement of the upper management. Just gotta get positions to go remote. Once all the jobs that can be done remotely, AI will replace all those jobs. It’s a hope we all get there so we don’t deal with upper management.
It’s not about right or wrong, it’s the fact we have to do all this “ mandatory overtime “ and you who already gets the better treatment now gets to do even less and not even so much as have to be there, it pisses people off who have to sweat there ass off in the shop
