This reminds me of a story my buddy shared with me over a beer. He had something like this happen to his work, but it turned out way worse than management expected.
His Management had camera's installed everywhere to try and see any slacking off. They made it clear that any slacking off would end up with a write up...
So he decided to convince all his co-workers that it didn't matter how much the camera's saw, cause they are paid by the hour. not how good of a job they do. Hehe. So everyone decided to take it nice and slow for 2 weeks. Costing the company over 20% of their profits. And the management was searching hard for an answer on how that would happen...
Until a wise manager decided to ask the workers what happened afterwork, bringing them to a bar and buying them all a meal and drinks on him. Cost him about $500 but he not only got an answer but also striking a deal with those workers. It took another week before the Wise Manager could get heard, but with no other "manager option" remaining, they decided to listen to him.
The workers not only got the cameras removed but also got A/C & permission to listen to music. They went from -20% profits to over 50% above expected profits. And any time someone tried to mess with that system, well...that magical profit tended to take a dive real quick.

Had a lady calling after hours to submit an emergency maintenance request because there was a dead mouse in her living room... I just wanted to say "Get a paper towel and throw it away you damn child!"
I also had an old guy call in once to request a roof inspection 2 days before Thanksgiving. Insisting it be done tomorrow...

This is TOO ACCURATE! I work in a warehouse and earlier this year it was time for everyone’s yearly evaluations and raises. Business has been somewhat slow recently and so management gave us warehouse workers very small raises (roughly a 1-2% raise depending on how much they like you, and inflation where I live has gone up about 7% in the last year, meaning after the raise the workers are working for essentially less money than a year ago due to the decreased buying power) The boss (who drives a brand new $100,000+ diesel truck and makes a 6 figure salary) said they wish they could afford to give us more and we deserve more but the business can’t afford it right now. Then just 2 weeks after killing morale with sub standard yearly pay adjustments, they doubled the cameras in the warehouse from 20 to 40. The security company was there for a week running all the wires and installing the cameras and DVRs. Im sure that wasn’t cheap, but apparently it was more important than paying the workers who produce all the company’s profit a living wage

If only younger workers could see how things were when I was young... you talked to the foreman for 20 minutes and he asked you questions about the job you applied for. You were hired if he was satisfied. He got his job because he knew the work inside and out. If you worked hard and fit in with the crew you got a raise. If not, you got fired or didn't get a raise, and got put on all the grunt work. They'd wait you out til you quit. You had a shot at promotions if you did a good job and weren't an asshole. You could afford to have your wife stay home and raise the kids, and life was more about living than survival. Companies had Christmas parties. You could tell jokes without having to worry about HR writing you up. Who would have ever thought things would get so miserable in the workpkace? I watched things get worse & worse since the 80's and now it's getting intolerable. Thank God I'm retired. Last place I worked, they only hired young college boys to manage things, with no idea at all about the work or the workers, paid them shit wages and burned them out within a year. We had 12 terminal managers in 12 years. None of them could even drive a truck around the parking lot.

From a person who install cameras and is a computer technician, the cameras are not going to pan out on the forklift. I am not talking about controling the camera remotely. I am talking about the logistics of a camera even being on the forlift.
First question what power is running the cameras? Is it battery? Does the battery need to be recharged?
How is the camera sending the video footage? Wireless? Sd card?
I highly dought the forklift is going to be dragging wires around the entire warehouse. I also doubt there will be a suspended cables like fast trains in other countries use. I doubt the floor will be electricfied.
So this leave recording to a sd card, which is not live. So i suspect the cameras on the forklift was just a lie or just for laughs.

One of my men asked “ How do you read that shit with a straight face ?” I had a rarely unused straight face that I saved for the occasions.

But that's basically earbuds, not speakers, which wouldn't block your hearing...now if y'all were trying to play them on max volume all the time, I could see that being the issue, but just normally playing music shouldn't be an issue...I had a place I worked at years ago that didn't care if you played music, but don't let them catch you having both earbuds in, you'll get in a lot of trouble because you wouldn't be able to hear what's going on around you
