Please check out Kingdom (zombie series) it’s a good mix of politics and zombies in medieval times, they have no dragon but bamboo sticks 😭.

AIB. There was a meteor crash like right when the friends hide in the bathroom stalls. The games are just there to see who survives the meteor crash that happened in the real world. After the games the main protagonist wakes up and his friends are dead cuz they died in the games early on.
Alice in borderland you have to watch. And my favourite K-drama is My Name I think you’d love it

"What is the point of cremating them?" - I mean, what ELSE are they gonna do with hundreds or even thousands of dead people? Actual bodies you'd have to bury if you wanted them to disappear which would be a whole lot of work, especially so if the island is made up of rocks and stones rather than dirt under the ground layer which is often the case, not to mention digging mass graves could be spotted from planes and satellites. Ashes you can just scatter to the wind pretty much anywhere.
Re: spoilers, are your subtitles set on audio description? Mine were automatically for this show, but you can change them. Apparently the normal ones are more accurate, too.
