So funny about the 20s/30s confidence thing, though. Everyone says you get more confidence in your 30s but the moment I got forehead wrinkles it was over for me. I felt way less like I cared about how I looked in my 20s. Now it's a huge deal to look old or be overdressed, underdressed, unprofessional, out of date, etc.

I always thought it was messed up that Carrie never said anything to that guy about filming during sex. You're right it was weird that society was so willing to accept it. I remember watching the series with different adult women in my life and can't remember anyone commenting on it. Over the years any time I try to discuss how the show is/was problematic they just say how groundbreaking it was to have a show like that on the air at that time.
That was one of many notes that dosnt play well now, all these years later. We love the show but its flaws can be glaring in the light of current day culture🥰💛
