When Miranda's mother died. The dressing room scene was Emmy worthy.
This was seriously some brilliant writing. It was emotional without being manipulative. Most shows end up falling into that trap.

It's always a mystery to me why SJP only won an Emmy in the final season of SATC and why Kristin and Kim does not have an Emmy. All of them should have gotten at least 1 Emmy by the end of SATC's 6 season run.
One is my favourite. Miranda and Steve finally realise they love each other and Charlotte finding her strength after a miscarriage. It’s brilliant.

Charlotte & Harry's wedding - the best episode ever!!!
When Charlotte and Harry have their little exchange at the reception ("I think your best man just got us to our 25th anniversary", "And your maid of honor just got us to our 50th"), it's so sweet! He was a fantastic late addition to the show.
There are too many to name!! This is such an awesome show !! I love Charlotte’s role and any episode with Aiden in it!!! He was soo good to Carrie!! What a dream guy!!
The episodes with Aiden feel more nostalgic for some reason.
My personal favorite is "Frenemies" due to the new understanding that develops between Charlotte & Samantha in the end.

It will always be the "One". With Miranda declaring Steve is the one she loves and wants to spend life together. Steve agrees and Steve, Miranda, and Brady get back together as a family.

I recently just finished the entire show and the two movies and I have to say I relate to Charlotte. I also relate to Carrie because she's a collector but mostly to Charlotte.
"Hot Child in the City" was something else. Wild stuff.
The Real Me is peak SATC. It's a personal favorite. Lexi Featherstone death shocked me in Splat! Post It Sticks Twice is also a classic with Carrie's speech to Berger's friends. That cop was funny "I'm sorry I can't. Don't hate me." 😂

I hate when imbeciles watch a SATC short on TikTok, with a moment when a character (usually Carrie) does something they hate and they go out of their way in droves to say how stupid SATC was and how much they hate it. This series was fucking amazing and yes, some stuff didn't age well, but it was well-written and funny and insightful. It changed TV series forever. SATC packed in a half an hour episode more substance and mind than modern 40min-1hour episodes where everything has a disclaimer, ten explanations, and more virtue signalling than a pastor collecting money for their next jet. I'll take one bad SATC episode any day than most of bland TV shows nowadays.

I thought for sure the episode "anchors away" would be on here. It is the start of season 5 and really seems to have a strong overall feel to it. 😊

My favorite was with Jazz Man,Craig Bierko, who she met while with Big...and the one where she meets Amalita who introduces her to a French architect.
I loved the episode: “easy come easy go” “I heart new York” and of course “an American in Paris” big big BIGGGGG
It‘s crazy! I had always wanted for Carrie to end up with Big. But now I realise it‘s because I had these problematic relationships myself. I‘m 34 now and would have loved for Carrie to stay single or have a better relationship with Aiden or even better a complete new role who could have combined all the perks the guys had.
I like when Mirand's mother in law moves in and she ends up looking for her desperately on the streets.

I love this show and have watched it over and over again, even though I think the Berger part is total boredom and the cheating on Aidan bit is unforgivably irritating to watch. Here are my personal favourites 10 episodes that I find truly inspiring, moving, romantic or funny. For me, My motherboard and my self is probably the best for the entire show.

2. S2 EP12 La Douleur Exquise (Shoe fetish guy)
3. S4 EP4 My motherboard, my self (Miranda's mum died, Sam has cried for the feeling she didn't know)
4. S4 EP13 The good fight (rooftop swimming scene of Sam and Richard is probably the most romantic scene in the show)
5. S4 EP18 I heart NY (Moon River playing at the last night Carrie and Big together on a autumn night in NYC)
6. S5 EP3 Luck be an old lady ('I love you Richard but I love me more')
7. S5 EP4 Cover girl (One of the best episodes for Sam. 'I will not be judged by you or society. I will wear whatever and blow whoever I want as long as I can breathe and kneel')
8. S5 EP8 I love a Charade (the Zsa Zsa Zsu, I find the lilac flower marking the burgeon of love Miranda feels about Steve so poetic)
9. S6 EP8 The catch (Loveiest wedding of Henry and Charlotte who 'feels happy in the relationship everyday, not all day every day, but every day')
10. S6 EP12 One (Charlotte miscarriage and Miranda telling steve she loves him - it's an episode about courage)
How such a brilliant tv show turned into AJLT?

The episodes where Carrie has moved to Paris. Beautiful setting and a good storyline, as she realizes that she is not a stay at home girlfriend. She has given up her friends, home and job to be with someone who doesn’t even prioritize her. And a romantic ending, even though I am not a Big fan

The episode after Big's heart surgery, where Carrie sites his heart is at last wide open. How fleeting it was, and her actual realization of her reality that followed.
I was expecting that to be number one! And Carrie had one of the best lines, “It was a shift imperceptible to anyone but me, but I knew Big’s heart was closed again”. She ended her line saying that life was too short. I loved how the episode ended playing Zero Seven’s “In the Waiting Line” instead of the usual closing theme. And that was the episode before “One” when she met and started to date Aleksandr Petrovski. I think that has got to be one of my very favorites. I’m disappointed I wasn’t even featured as an honorable mention.😕
I know Carrie is flawed but she's still a good character
It’s hard to choose, I also love the episodes that happen around short-haired Aiden time, like the fight and the country home episode. But, Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda is probably my favorite. Both Miranda and Charlotte’s storylines hit hard and it’s really refreshing seeing how both of their stories were told, and I really love the ending of the episode, it always makes me emotional.

Once again, the depth and the wit of the scripts in the original series don’t even compare to AJLT.
carrie can be intolerable sometimes but i will say her walking next to Miranda at Miranda's mom's funeral always gets me because watching Miranda cry as she walked down the aisle made me want to hold her hand too. Additionally, when Miranda gave birth and during the final push, Carrie doesn't break eye contact with Miranda even when everyone is cooing over the new baby. People forget about the mother sometimes when there's a baby in the room but I feel like to Carrie, Miranda wasn't just a "mom", she was still her best friend and still just as important.

Charlotte settled for Harry because she realizes no matter how pretty she is, other men didn't love her the way he does. When she asked him if he knew what ppl said when they see them together, she was just as bad as them. But sweet Charlotte, right! 😅
Plus she NEEDET to get married and aside from his look he fit into her checklist.

The only time I've seen Carrie think about someone other than herself is when she stuck up for Miranda when they went to Atlantic City. Other than that, I maintain Carrie is a selfish drama queen the whole series. I'm very surprised in her new series, she is not as selfish.

Weird how the Petrovski relationship was so problematic and icky, that it made you root for Big who was a problematic assh*le as well. When I rewatch the episodes with Petrovski I usually skip all her interactions with him. Try as they might, they couldn't make that geriatric dude sexy. All the scenes felt forced and uncomfortable.
