- The guys behind Project Gotham racing are making a third person shooter? Let's see what they got:
Positive things about the game:
Brutal takedowns.
Simple, but fun driving sections (Racing down a frozen lake to catch a speeding train while being shot at by a helicopter? Yes please.).
Voice acting. (They even got Judi Dench as M and Danial Craig too).
Story (they actually got a writer for the movies to make the story here).
Level variety (Bangkok, Monaco, Siberia etc.).
Cinematic experience.
Soundtrack.
Well optimized.
Negative things about the game:
Graphics ( Blurry textures, emotionless face models etc.).
Linear.
Clunky platforming (no manual jump button, only when the game prompts you to).
A bit too easy.
Short. (5 hours on Agent).
Too little gadgets (sure the Smartphone is interesting, but they could have added more).
Bad motion blur.
Some poorly done explosions.
Can get repetitive fast (Get in, hack, stealth a bit and play whack a mole while behind cover. Rinse and repeat for added effect).
AI is pretty poor (They will mindlessly approach you while you're behind cover and just throw themselves into your JUDO CHOPS!).
Poor lighting.
The cover system is too stiff - also, no crouch button.
Well, they had a good idea with this one, too bad it has the third person whack a mole syndrom and some other clunky mechanics. If they had worked on the cover system and adding more gadgets into the game, it could have been better. As the game is now, it's a rent for James Bond fans, and a pass for the rest.

Pretty underrated game :(
Not really, sure it was better than all the other Craig-based Bond games but it still falls short of being a good Bond game. The Bond games of the Gamecube/XBOX/PS2 genre were better.

10:46 I just love how the transition to the next takedown is handled so well. That is true effort on the developer's part! These takedowns are really badass! More raw than Splinter Cell Blacklist.

Looks like an easier Splinter Cell Blacklist
When Blood Stone first came out a lot of people were comparing it to Splinter Cell: Conviction. It basically is a more simplistic and linear Splinter Cell with driving sections. Still though this is pretty decent for a license game.

+φ First-order logic My backlog has gotten completely out of hand. I've barely played Fallout 4 because I'm trying to clean up my backlog, but at least with all this time I'm not playing it a healthy amount of patches are coming out for it.
I really enjoyed this game back in the day and the soundtrack is awesome.
Keep in mind that I picked up this game for less than $20 and that I'm a HUGE fan of James Bond, but this game is so much fun!
You really feel like Bond, especially with the mix of shooting and driving and hand to hand combat. Daniel Craig and Judi Dench really took their acting seriously for the game which I really appreciated. The plot was pretty interesting and kept me guessing to the end.
Between this and 'Goldeneye 007: Reloaded', it's not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
I really liked it especially the takedowns.
I dunno why people hate this so much...this was really entertaining, and felt like 007. I even liked how they sort of incorporated Splinter Cell's Mark and Execute into it.

Best Bond game since Nightfire...
I love the FPS Bond games, but there should be more of these 3rd person ones, too. I used to have Tomorrow Never Dies on PS1. I've got Quantum of Solace and Nightfire on PS2. The gameplay in this reminds me a bit of QOS on PS2. I didn't play Everything or Nothing, but it looked great.

007 has a lot of potencial to be one of the greatest if not the best Stealth game that mankind can create. Look to Hitman Absolution and Sam Fisher's Splinter Cell stealth system; add this to Batman series fight system + marvellous script = sucess. Rockstar already tried to create one Spy game called "Espionage", its their dream after GTA V. Lets see ...
Rockstar's spy game was going to be called "Agent" not "Espionage." It was announced back in like 2009, and was going to be a PS3 exclusive. Unfortunately not much was ever known about it, and it was never really publicly spoken about after its announcement. Rumor is it's still in development, but who knows besides the folks at Rockstar. If I was to bet on it I'd say it was probably scraped and cancelled a long time ago.

9:25 seems like a risky takedown. He knows you tactic is silence, all he has to do is squeeze the trigger and your cover is blown.
I'd love to see a "Live and Let Die" Bond game, that was my favorite as a kid.

as a bond fan, I'll have to say that this game is great, and so much better than the linear Quantum of solace game

Maybe the game mechanics in Blood Stone felt better to me.. it felt more fluent than Conviction. or Maybe i say its garbage compared to Blood Stone is because i expected Conviction to be stealth all the way through. i dont expect that from a bond game because they've fucked all them up after goldeneye 64 and nightfire. But I'm glad that there was no hate from your comment or mine. Much respect

On '007' it's not that easy. It's quiet fun there. But in general it is too easy, I agree.

Yeah i guess your right. SC:C was kinda crap when it came to stealth, and stealth was the main focus to the series, so yeah they did f up there.

@veipper also one more thing is negative...its pretty unrealistic sometimes, when u do a stealth take down the guy groans or u groan and u have an enemy just close to you but he doesnt hear...

I don't hate them, but I feel 3rd person Bonds do a much better job of capturing the movie's feel. Everything or Nothing and this are two of my favourite Bond games and both really feel like a playable version of their respective Bonds. EON had all the gadgets and the over the top villains (Willem Dafoe rules) while Blood Stone was more subdued and focused on brutal combat and gunplay.
I think the takedowns in Blood Stone are much more fluid and cinematic than Convictions, especially considering they change depending on your position, stance etc. Although, I prefer Conviction XD

Immidietly when I watched this I noticed the errors of Bond games. This map was just a corridor with guards that were very easy to take out. A good Bond game needs the maps to be open. If you have a compound or warehouse for example. You should be able to start outside and go inside anywhere you want, climb roofs etc. You should need to find entrance you can use yourself and plan and execute the mission yourself!! I wish this kind of game will be done someday.
Kproductions i know it’s not a Bond game but the Hitman games kinda do all of this except for the license.
how ever, I have to ask you a question? Is it possible to choke a guy out of his breathing within 5 secs?

The Bond video game license Activision got has expired so they took it all down, so does the previous owner EA did(they got the best bond game, believe me), you may be able to find a retail copy but not anymore online
