this mod is not based on the one that was submitted, this Jumping Spider is it's own iteration
Greedy though it is, I hope some of the other rejected entries get this treatment too, particularly Sauroposeidon. Though this was another I was pretty eager to have get put in, so happy that we did get this cutie

@@CamSpaghett the feather quills that were suggested with it were really interesting, one was going to have a tranquilizer affect, another was going to have an enraging affect. I think there was a third quills.

Dang I forgot ark had tameable spiders THAT CAN’T CLIMB WALLS. So many creatures need a TLC
Being real, ASA should probably have had a lot of creatures get TLC on launch, seeing as we had to get it delayed so much. A lot of the older models feel very out of place at times, and a good chunk of older ones like the Carno and Megalodon were SUPPOSED to eventually get tlcs before Ase ended support, by word of WC themselves, but sadly that, and a lot of supposed planned features, like throwable pikes I recall being commonly discussed way back, never happened for ASE, and don't seem to be in the cards for ASA any time soon, either. I do hope after we have our maps sorted that WC does go back and give tlcs where they are due, instead of blatantly relying on modders to make quality content in the meantime. Don't get me wrong, I love the modding community, they deserve to be praised and appreciated for their hard work, but it's not exactly subtle that that is what WC's gameplan is atm.

No because it’s not official and anyone that knows how to build walls correctly won’t have this issue
There’s some mod problems for consoles but this is an amazing game keep up the great work been loving u guys since 2017
The jumping spider is a blue screen waiting to happen
The mod is pretty stable. I have had zero issues with it so far. The jumper is probably the best way to get wyvern eggs now (if you can sneak in undetected). Cyrus is working hard on bug fixes and updates to ensure the mod is 100%. His next project is going to be a giant, rideable carpenter bee.

@@rodrigoandorinha9259 Only a little bit (like normal sprinting). I haven't had a single crash related to the spider yet. Think of it as a more compact procoptodon with more damage and some utility.

Works for me. Tame female with spider shield + mashed insects / gecko tails. Tame male with female pheromones + mashed insects / prime meat / gecko tails.

I wish my game actually looked and ran this good. This game makes me dumb down all my settings since I'm on console. If I don't it's choppy. It'd be nice if WC would try to optimize the game a little more

What exactly is that Ark Omega? A custom map with a bunch of base changes?
It appears to be an Annunaki Genesis / primal fear / God dino type of mod. For those who are masochist and hate themselves and want ark to be harder, with lazor dinos, fire and thousands of damage. It's an overhaul of the whole game and its progression.

@joshuajenkins6920 ya, it looks to have an ingame wiki, thank goodness because those mods are overly conveluted.
@joshuajenkins6920 I implore you to go and read the Curseforge page for the mod before making any judgment. It is far from "just another overhaul" like Annunaki and Primal Fear, where balance seems to be thrown out the video for the sake of having large damage numbers on screen. It is far more than that. Literally turns ARK into an ARPG/MMO, and not just a "laser, fire breath, explosions happening everywhere with effects blinding you constantly" game, like the other overhauls.
The segment in this video dedicated to it was tragically bad at showing it off.

How do you change the aim back to ase? Asa feels very wonky and very drifts even without the aim assist on controller
Yeah it can be frustrating when you're going for head shots but it always wants to drift to the body.
You can turn that off in settings

When realse on pst i want it so nad i won't buy 500 dollars or 400 to buy ps4 then buy the game bruh
To be honest, that tiny section for ARK Omega Ascended didn't feel enough. It's a mod with months' worth of content. The way it was shown off, it just looked like any other overhaul mod, but it is far deeper than all the other overhauls combined.
If you've gotten just a tiny bit tired of the way vanilla ARK plays, this is your best bet for a completely new experience while still being able to enjoy all of ARK's creatures.
I got banned the other day because I made a second account I have acknowledged it on the email anyone got any info that can help me, can't even get to see the details of the crunch that was just posted all because I wanted to make a new account
